Well, Noel Brown was running Wolvie/Frank at the spooky stream couple nights back. I dunno what to think about the shopping cart assist, though. I remember week 1 vanilla when everyone was convinced the “it” assist was Chun Li’s Lightning Legs.
OMG, I know, right? The “tightening” of Bold Canceling has actually made my success rate for pulling it off a lot more consistent. I still suck with Dante, but now I’m sucking with Bold Cancels!
I still input move cancels normally since I haven’t used dante much in this, that extra knock back from his j.H is a bit annoying but he still seems pretty solid. I feel bad for the casual dante players though, abc123 doesn’t even work for them, you telling me they gonna have to learn to :dp::s:

Shopping cart is being talked up way too much. It’s a good, versatile assist, but it’s not the Tatsu. It can get stuffed by pretty much anything. Physical or projectile. It causes worse damage scaling than the tatsu, is harder to combo off of (especially at mid-screen) and Frank doesn’t even make a very good anchor. Especially if left back there at level 1. I couldn’t believe Justin was running Frank on anchor basically just for the assist, and I think it’s a lot of the reason he lost on that spooky stream.
However like I said it’s still an awesome versatile assist. It’s working great with my Wright team for pushback (but I also have my team designed around getting Frank leveled too, I don’t just have him for the assist which I think is a bad idea), but I think it’s pressure game is really only going to shine in the corner. And it will be brutal there.
Wait, have I been doing this the hard way? I’ve always done :dp: :s: + :atk:, . Don’t tell me there’s another way. Also, I bumped into a casual Dante today. LMH xx Stinger xx Clay Pigeon or whatever his mash move is called, launch.
I haven’t seen much of Frank’s Shopping Cart, mostly because the Frank’s I’ve played have been on point. I’ve also seen a supreme lack of Strider online…so much so I’m thinking about taking him up myself.
Just hope I can control his speed…

If you want the cheap stuff, put strider third and use his ridiculous assist for your other characters. Any character with an otg can abuse his assist extremely well. It also gives you the extremely cheap strider level 3 xfactor orouborus where he becomes extremely insane.
Do this in his DLC costume… and I might just vomit
The shopping cart is certainly a fine assist, but Frank really has more than just a simple assist char. But Justin just wanted to try out the new chars, his main team is still Storm / Wesker / Akuma.
As for Noel Brown, on the other hand, I have no idea.
J Wong’s first team now apparently is Storm / Felicia / Frank, he thinks that Felicia is this game’s Wolverine. Noel Brown is sticking to his Wolverine/Wesker/Frank team, he’s a big fan of Frank West and he wants to prove that he can still win with Wolverine.
He’s the best in the world, that’s what.
No, I appreciate a person’s dedication to a favorite character, but Tatsu assist has an advantage in eating projectiles. Overall, I think it’ll be a bit more useful. And like Russell said, Lv.1 Frank anchor is a no-no.
Also, watching Ultimate and Marvel 3 in tandem on the same stream (NextLevel) just reinforces Jedah’s would-be justified inclusion in this game, if it weren’t for the blood.
Good. If he still has some mix-up options I’m gonna give him a serious trial run. Maybe a revamped Strider-Doom combo.

lvl3 XF Ammy is ridiculous. That speed and damage boost she gets is great, thats what it should’ve been in vanilla.
