Just finished playing a 4 hour sesh of Ultimate. Ran only new cats. RR/Vergil/Frank was sooo much fun. I needed my LV1 Ouroboros-esque fix. Lots of cats fell for Pendulum and i followed up with Frankās combos for experience. RR is the most fun Iāve had with Matvel3 since vanilla release week,
Is it just me, or is anyone else feeling sorry for Phoenix players in Ultimate. Ran into one today and in this order, Took out one of her meters in a air combo, pinned her down & forced her to X-Factor, countered with my own X-Factor and killed her with a Trish Dive Kick. With the changes in building meter, losing meter and Jeanās nerfs, Iām surprised sheās even touched. But props to that guy for sticking it out with her.
Also, havenāt seen much of The Sorcerer Supreme. For someone whoās supposed to be the āHeirā to Jeanās Anchor Throne, Dr. Strange hasnāt been making housecalls from what Iāve faced.
Or maybe it was someone who still thought they could cheap out with an easy victory.
Seriously! RR was one of my least hyped about characters but the traps, pendulum assist, and his victory āposeā is just too awesome.
Kinda off topic, but do any pad players have tips/suggestions on how to do rdp motions? There are times where Iāll get nothing but fireball moves and then there are times where Iāll get nothing but dp moves (which is obviously what Im trying to do) but the weird thing is, the input display always shows the same inputs. Itās usually 
:d::db:+:atk: but as I said it shows this when a dp move comes out as well as a fireball move

Also, I beat Arcade with Hsien-Ko. And it was glorious. And seriously, Thor Hsien-Ko and Lei Lei would lose to Loki, Jedah, and everyone else there.

Really enjoying my Vanilla team of Spencer/Hulk/Dorm in the lab. The general damage nerf is a bit unnerving when I look at what I may have just unleashed on a dummy and see that it didnāt do what it would have done in Vanilla.
Having a hard time with the "stilted"ness of some of the new characters. Nova and Strange feel veryā¦ choppy(?) ā¦not in a bad way, mind you, but their noves feel like they have no flow to them.
I have yet to touch Wright.
Iron Fist is more and more fun to use each time.

As shown by F Champ, she is still reasonably effective to a certain level. Dark Phoenix is still overpowered and people are yet to be willing to change their teams for the sake of fighting against her. Itās just that sheās no longer a crutch and you have to work harder now to get Dark Phoenix. The scrubs will drop her, but the real Phoenix players will still be able to win with her, just that the gamble factor is now higher and on the long run when people start putting guys like Hawkeye with his bionic arrow in their team the Phoenix players are going to start crying.
Strange was never going to be the heir of Phoenix, heās always going to be one of the hardest characters in the game to be effective with, which is like the opposite of why people use Phoenix.
Iām really salty about Hulkās Missions in Ultimate. Thank you Capcom for shoving his :f:
down our throats in combos. A move with reported hyper armor mainly being used as a Combo Extender.
