Pretty much this. They’re both terrible, but Hsien-Ko has a few okay matchups where she can anti-zone and has that okay assist. Tron doesn’t really have anything.

She has a lot of health. My friend uses her as a sponge for Dark Phoenix.

My strength with Rocket is his speed and that I’m probably one of the few (if not the only) people who teleport immediately after the Rock N Roll to create constant pressure. My Strider is horrible still and Ammy is my pride and joy lol. Shame I lost a bunch of matches (thankfully I didn’t get Perfected :Dv [I’m looking at you Momo lol])

because thats the brunt of Wesker combos to me. “Real” Wesker combos to mean using Cobra Strike and Ghost BUtterfly in the combos.

He was doing stuff I haven’t seen wesker ever do before. He used this Dash thing that kicked me in the face then followed up with a cobra strike. Shit was ice.

With me, I just throw stuff and swing on chains. I call it the Monkey style.

Thor’s Mighty Spark covers my horizontal area when I throw upwards and Spencer’s Slant Shot snags people trying to move forward in the air. Air dash helps me run away from teleporters and with Thor’s assist, I can get a free mixup with her teleport dash. All else fails, she can armor up, back out and get help from two of the most powerful characters in the game.

I can see her potentially replacing Haggar on my old vanilla team. The manly trio of Haggar/Spencer/Thor could use a chinese zombie girl touch.

Oh thats QCF + H (Jaguar Kick) it was Wesker’s most unused move in Vanilla, its essentially Rapid Slash except without the whole crossup thing, and he’s really vulnerable on recovery. But now they buffed it so it comes out faster and is usable in combos now.

Oh no wonder I raged when some guy randomly pulled it off on me in a tourney killing my Cap today. Just yelled “FFFFFFFFFFFUU–” I had no idea wth this guy did. I am now enlightened, I love this place more than ever.

Oh, that’s great. It was refreshing seeing a wesker ON POINT, that did more then ABC OTG ABC OTG team hyper. That brings up a point:

We should tier “Cannon Teams” (Like Team DMC, Team STARS, Team Avengers Darkstalkers,etc) for the hell of it.
S tier is Team DMC for sure, and A is Team STARS but besides that I have no clue lol.

Jaguar Dash -> Jaguar Kick. It’s very useful now when approaching from fullscreen against an opponent who can’t do anything about it. It’s also very fast and relatively safe even though it looks unsafe.

Lol. I LOVE it when I put Hsien-Ko on point. The first though that runs through everyone’s mind is “Great, he’s gonna use the gold armor and then switch her out.” Then when they’re getting wrecked and I haven’t even bothered to touch the Gold Armor, then they start to shit themselves and realize that I use her as a hopping tank of destruction that rains some big ass balls from the sky, not as an assist character.

I enjoyed reading everything but the bold part. You’re much better off setting up Gongs and approaching from there. Her items have what I think is the lowest durability in the game and should be used sparingly. They do hit overhead (except for the stun items), and most people don’t know that, so you can try for some mixup stuff if you’re feeling cocky, I suppose. But if it works for you, go for it.

But true, such a testosterone-filled team could use a Chinese-mystic feminine touch for balance. It’s a delicate act.

Bar fights was entertaining . . saw the first set then i missed 2 match ups (Fanatiq vs Clockwork and Viscant vs Floe) on my way to work but I was able to catch the rest. I’m proud of Jago, a lil dissapointed he turned down the fight with Combofiend even though he knew he was going to get blown up. I really can’t blame him though. Oh well still some good shit.

Yeah, the normal items do. I actually didn’t think they did until somewhat recently, heh.

Might work. Assists/easy pushblocks make it harder than in VSav, though.

Anyone considering buying the Vita and UMvC3 for it? I just got a 3DS recently but I gotta admit, there are countless times where I want to try out a combo but have to wait hours till I get home. And we all know Mahvel’s matches are pretty fast so getting 3 or so matches in during a 15min break at work would be fun.
