Okay, Iām in desperate need of help. There was a guy I kept fighting online over and over running this team I had no idea how to deal with with. He was running Dorm/Black Hole, Doom/Missiles and Sent/Drones. I Run Nova/Spencer/Task. He usually started with either flame carpet or dark matter to give him breathing room shortly followed by Doom assist while he starts stocking up for meteor shower. Any time I try to approach heād usually let the meteorās fly and start zoning me again, trading off with Doom and Sent for the assist and setting up more carpets as necessary and capitalizing on my mistakes with combos when possible including Dormās teleports.
I can cope with the teleports. The problem is his neutral game. I feel utterly helpless because I just couldnāt figure out any way to get past his wall of projectiles. The biggest issue was Doomās missiles. Their presence prevents me from building any kind of momentum and on the rare occasion I could get something started I have to respect the missiles and give up the initiative or else I get smacked. Either way, Dorm is free to star zoning all over again.
Iām still fairly new at this game but I at least have a grasp of the basics and can hold my own okay but damn Iām at a loss for what to do with against this team.

Give us combos in Mission Mode that will actually be practical AND useable in a real fight, not just random shit you thought up and somehow made work.

Some of the missions are stupid as hell (most of the ones involving assists). Some are pretty cool, most of the time the mission 10 is cool. Like Danteās mission 10 is close to one of his BnBs. The Ammy one is really cool, etc. Most of the assist ones I just skip lol.
Striderās freaking 12th mission looks flashy as hell.

I hate mission mode because theyāre generally just different version of my own BnBs, so muscle memory always kicks in and makes it harder to pull off. Oh, and the mission 9s/assist-missions are always stupid.

Played UMVC3 with my friends, who are probably the most casual fighting game players you can get. They donāt even know how to do a hadoken, but they were huge fans of the game. They all loved Phoenix Wright as soon as I showed how he gets evidence and is a lawyer.
One thing they all hated though, was the new lifebars. They all kept complaining about how itās confusing. They couldnāt tell how much health their assists had, which characters were in which position, etc, and they were all like āwhy did they change it the old lifebars were fine.ā I thought Capcom changed the lifebars to appeal to casuals, but I guess they changed it just to make everyone miserable.
I was gonna ask to specify which kid but after reading some of the coments I am pretty sure which one you were talking about and I donāt want to punch himā¦ I want to do to him what nemesis did to brad in RE3
