Working on that history degree, and enjoying it thus far. You know the actual LEARNING process not the boring studying/writing papers process.

Oh trust me the learning is awesome. Especially when you start applying it in life. The academic work is murder, but I guess proving what you know is a big part of the educational system. Sort of like seeing something cool in a stream and then actually trying it in training mode. Takes a lot of conviction to practice longer than 15mins in ‘the lab’, but I guess that’s a key difference between fighting gamers and others.

Now that I think about it, fighting games are the only games with deep training modes. Other games you pretty learn learn on the fly. Excluding FPS games with bots/custom games and sports games (though sports games mostly have such modes for simulation ‘training season’ reasons than actually getting people accustomed to the game).

I do like knowing exactly how to burn down a multistory building with a single fuel source and little fuel, if I ever snap like that.

When u look at your stats on mahvel and it tells you wins losses draws and all that, on the bottom of the list says cheap wins what does it consider a cheap win?

I really love playing dante but never played dmc ._. Going to buy dmc3 on steam since I heard it’s the 2nd/best and the first isn’t on steam.

Buy the special edition, and for the love of god, play with a controller.

I actually like Bayonneta (the game and the character). I know she’s supposed to be sexy and do sexy poses and shit after some of her moves which makes it cheesy but I like it. Just like High School of the Dead which had lots of panty shots, you can tell when they’re just throwing sex into it but it still doesnt change the fact that it was a great show/game.

Pssh Dante has tons of weapons, he doesnt need swords to float around him. Why control swords with Demonic powers when you can just use your hands to look even more stylish? Lets see if I can beat that bnb;)

You know whats weird. You cant use the same specials in the air if you XF in the air.

For example, Dante cant do Air Play XF Air Play. Its not that bad but it doesnt make sense since XF is supposed to completely reset your character.

It does make sense… At least for some characters. Just think about MODOK or Storm flying around for days against someone like Haggar. Not that those matchups are any less disgusting now but jump/flight, flight XF flight could be just a little over the top.

While I agree about that, its character (or move) specific so they could’ve just made it so that you cant do flight XF flight. For example, Dante doing Air Play XF Air Play only would help to keep him in the air for maybe a few seconds longer. Then you have Task and Trish who can do super XF super but Akuma cant. And that would probably keep them in the air longer than Flight XF flight
