actually Iâve heard almost unanimously the 1st is harder in a lot of aspects.
3 is challenging on the higher difficulties for sure though.
Except dmcâs difficulty is semi-lame btw. stronger enemies appear early, usually just doing a shit load more damage with the same ai.
i have to say though i dont think ninja gaiden games are the best, they are more difficult then DMC games because the enemies donât just devil trigger and get more health on higher difficulties. they actually seem smarter, use different strategies and 9/10 they do shit that surprises you, sometimes stuff only you could do at lower difficulties.
I personally think the best zelda game is okami
and the best DMC game is bayonetta. Her not being in over vergil is ALMOST a crime but platinum games isnât a part of capcom :/.
If you dig action games and havenât tried Bayonetta you are missing out hardcore. Its my favorite game this generation.
NotâŚreally imo. The enemies are a lot more aggressive in DMC3âs DMD mode. Some enemies even gain new moves like Hell Lustâs and their anti air charging slash thing. Then when they DT they tank more hits AND you take more damage on top of that.
Also, yeah Bayonetta was an awesome game, gameplay wise⌠my only problem was Bayonetta herself. Didnât like her character at all.
I would say, Best Action/Adventure and Best Japanese Hack & Slash. But I digress, The best Zelda game to me was Majoraâs Mask or OoT (canât decide) in terms of DMC well I havenât played all of them so I canât say much.
lol dmc 3⌠one of the most difficult games Iâve ever played. In terms of action games, the only other game that can give it a run for its money is ninja gaiden. That shit is difficult, I look forward to picking up the hd remake when it drops, although I was hoping they wouldnât pack dmc 2 in there as well. Its funny, that game is so crappy, that capcom are giving it to me in a collection, and I still feel cheated.
On a completely different note, I was wondering, in marvel 2, how was storms damage? I hear she was the best, but her damage seems a little sub par since she didnât hit like sentinel or have an infinite like magneto. So maybe Im just spoilt by marvel 3âs ludicrous damage, how was storms damage relative to marvel 2? Was she considered a high damage character or was she only really damaging because of the sentinel dhc that hit for like 90 percent(insert welcome to USA joke here)

DMC3 was the best in terms of gameplay to me. DMC1 had the best atmosphere and level design. DMC2âŚuhhh. DMC2 had the nicest Dante costume. DMC4 had the coolest Dante. In my opinion.
Ehh, I dunno. Just seemed like the generic âHelloooooo boys, look at my boobiesâ type of character. Not to mention her entire power set (anatomically warped witch who uses nakedness to get more power) was too ridiculous, even for me.
I dunno, Bayonetta (the character) just seemed like she tried too hard to be the cheesy bad ass Dante is. In my opinion.
I still kinda want DMC4 Dante as DLC for this game, though.
she didnât quite have a devil trigger. but whenever she used large magical things her hair turned into the demons summoned etc. and her hair is her clothes.
and the game doesnât go half ass, when its silly itâs silly.
the best thing about it over DMC (see vergil) is instead of the DARKNESS, I NEED MORE POWER, etc it just does not take it self seriously. which i love.
and bayonetta is my fave action game star. kratos my least fave, dante comfortably inbetween.

a lil off topic but pretend im talking about dante.
the issue people have with bayonetta is the fact that people take the sexy thing seriously. it isnât meant to be sexy to anyone besides a 12 year old. Itâs all used as a parody. what its doing is going so over the top and over saturating itself with sexuality that it becomes nothing.
and its gameplay is so solid that even if you hate everything about her you canât help but recommend the game.
maybe being gay makes me like it instead of making me uncomfortable but i find it hilarious.
I had a guy RQ on me today. It was strange because he played MSS and seemed pretty good. Had a streak when I entered the lobby and I ended it and we went on from there. At the end of the third or fourth battle I had him down to Sent and I caught him with a deliciously random Jam Session and he just left.
Thereâs this other guy I met at Lamestop when I bought UMvC3. He seemed unusually excited that I was buying the game and he gave me his GT to have some sessions. He remarked how good he was and for some reason really wanted to run sets with me. I figure he must not have coworkers who like fighting games.
Anyway it was a while before I actually met up with him online. He runs Frank West on point and was pretty good. He likes wave dashing a lot, even when I wasnât sure it was a good idea. I went with my Nova/Sparda Twins team.
So I beat him and he was like, âI was supposed to win.â Seemed like a strange kind of post-match commentary to have with somebody you just met so Iâm like, âWell the victor is pretty who should have won.â And retorts that he should have won and added that he fumbled a wave dash that cost him the match.
Except he lost all but one bout, where he finally put Wesker on point against Nova. Worked out for him. But I digress; hereâs this guy with these technical skills who accepted his loos only at the behest of technical folly. He never once, and I get a sense of refusal on his part, entertained the idea of me beating him legit. Heâs a nice guy though, just takes himself a tad seriously.
Thatâs my story for the week.

Also, would like to second (or third) that Bayonetta is the best action game ever made. Technically better than DMC3, but I still value DMC as my favorite action game franchise. She would have been a blast in a game like this. Iâd do an MvC3 movelist for her if that wasnât shot down months ago (had a cool set for Superman, too).
Yeah⌠I have mock movesets for Black Panther, Lady and Captain Commando but I dunno if weâre still allowed to post them. Oh well.
