I can appreciate showboating only as long as there is style involved. Taunting and teabagging? Pretty lame any eyeroll-worthy in general, unless you’re playing as Dan or something and it’s kind of the point. Laying down a flame carpet on my corpse and then just rocking back in flight mode like a boss? I can dig it.
I just goaded a taunter/disconnecter into sending me a bunch of racially charged hatemail, which I promptly forwarded through a code of conduct complaint (which actually do get dealt with eventually, fyi). I don’t get mad. I just turn their prepubescent little hissy fits around on them and laugh.
Taunting in general pisses me off, even moreso when its mid-match and further moreso when it’s spammable like Akuma or Sentinel.
Funny thing is taunters are usually the ones to leave the match after they get bodied and run away from you when you run into them again in a Player Match screen.
It’s really fun to Repulsion corpses with Magneto for some reason though.
Hell, Dorm’s flight mode by itself is a taunt. A boss one, at that. At least when someone does that, you know they recognize it too. Usually I just stand there or hop around or whatever, or occasionally swing/zipline around the screen if they’re being dickish.
I told dem. XF3 is like Ammy in ninja mode. She attacks fast and swift.
IDC for taunting. Mid match they do piss me off but if I win and have atleast one meter, you best believe Im gonna use a hyper and make you have to wait till its over. The best is when I do Acid Rain right before doing Million Dollars with Dante. Pretty sure thats the longest lasting hyper too. Dorm’s flight is just too good not to do at the end of matches. Strider does Legion to make hella animals run over your dead body. And Ammy just keeps placing paper over the body as if you were the corpse with a sheet. Yea Im an ass but only when someone else starts

Also the voice acting for Hsien-ko and Tron makes me wish that there was an ‘off’ option for individual voices along with English and Japanese.
It’s like the Actors knew that they were going to turn out as the weakest characters in the game so they purposely made them terrible

Lol Ghost Rider I do Heartless Spire like 3 times on their corpse. Ammy I sword spike their head. Hawkeye if I have meter super scatter shot the corpse, no meter then I taunt

I actually like Tron’s voice. Actually I beat someone in Vanilla with Tron’s assist and it was hilarious when I heard “Thanks for playing!” right after she killed him.
I usually just have Hsien-Ko’s voice set to Japanese anyway. It’s… tolerable, I guess.
Her taunt is actually a little funny in her home series, because she breathes out sounding like she’s exhausted instead of sounding like an infant. You can even hold the button down and she’ll keep sighing/circular breathing/whatever.
And how could you not like Tron’s OAHOHOHOHOHO? It’s a classic!
