If I hadn’t already had a Dreamcast and a (legit) copy of Marvel 2, I probably would have just bought a Dreamcast and burnt a copy of Marvel 2 instead of paying the outrageous prices it went for.

I didn’t end up buying the PS2 version until sometime after the digital re-release, but I ended up swindling a copy of the Xbox version off of somebody for $8. Heh heh heh…

Yesterday a criminal defense attorney came to one of my classes to speak. He started talking about how about 20 years ago there was this case where an innocent man was sent to jail for being convicted of raping a mentally retarded 12 year old girl because the prosecuting attorney withheld evidence that would have clearly proven his innocence. The guy was a shorter, skinnier guy who wore a size 28 pants and some of the evidence they found was the rapist’s underwear that he had left beside the bed. The underwear was a size 36. So in court the defendant brought up that there was no way that it could have been his underwear because it was 8 sizes too big. The prosecutor’s response?

“It’s common knowledge that black men tend to wear big underwear.”

omfg i fucking hate this country’s judicial system. r u kidding me? sad thing is that it probaly was jurors that believe him. a co worker of mine told me that when he did jury duty it was a black guy in court the ppl thought he was gulity even tho he was innonence. when a white guy was getting charged and had evidence that proved he was gulity one of the ppl said “if we send him to jail he could get hurt.”

Wow, so I see Soulcalibur DLC in my news feed on FB. The wedding outfits look cool so I click the comments. Then I see the exact same shit I was seeing when Capcom would put the DLC costumes on FB. People begging and complaining about characters no one even liked. “OMG WHERE’S ROCK YUNSUNG AND NECRID???”. I’m kind of surprised its companies other than Capcom that get this crap.
