Long story short, befaure I went to Tunisia, I was playing a MMO called dofus with some of my IRL friends from back home. I had a couple characters including a healer. That character’s name was Nini.
I got my GF to start playing the game with us and gave her the healer. Now her real life name actually meant “one who heals” in Arabic(Assiah or Asiyah) but I did not know that then. Once I figured it out quite a while later, I started calling her Nini IRL too. When I went back home for the break, my boys all started calling me Nini’s heart to tease me and the joke continued online when I went back to Tunisia. Even she started calling me that so I kinda took a liking to the name.

Anyways, when I had to leave Tunisia, I decided that if I had to use a handle in some online game or whatever, it would reference her and remind me of what once was.

@Elfen Lied: Tbh I really didn’t like Elfen Lied, it was too much “I’m kawaii and badass at the same time” one of the tropes I really don’t like in anime. Also, too gorey for no reason they really pressed the whole ‘prejudice’ theme way too much in your face I wish it was more subtle.
