The BradyGames guide was confirmed to, more or less, have the same people working for it as the UMvC3 guide (save for Buktooth, I think) is 400 pages and is HARDCOVER so probably.

I buy them just for frame shit. Never cared about it before but I do now. Although I think I dont need since I use frames in Mahvel for combos more or less and seeing why something works. I was watching a KoF training tutorial that showed a smart way to see frame advantage/disadvantage. Basically make the computer block all and jump. Then when you perform an attack just hold up and whoever jumps first has the frame advantage. Not great for exact frame Dante (which I need in Mahvel) but good nonetheless
As infuriating as marvel is I think pokemon is worse… For every team you make there will always be one pokemon that can steam roll your team… I just dont get how people play it competitively…
I also just looked at the tierlist and saw blaziken in ubers… that speed boost is pretty stupid though

the hell? that nigga was UU in 4th Gen. I -used- to play Pokemon competitively and that game is waaaayyyy more broken and random than Marvel will ever be. it’s probably why I have this insane tolerance for bullshit so I don’t really get salty about Marvel.
Hmm, thats actually pretty smart. However, its sorta ghetto too lol because you cant really tell how much advantage/disadvantage you have, which is important knowing if you can safely keep applying pressure, or even block an opponent’s counter.
I ussually just look up anything though, but I see how they can be handy. And to answer your question, I do recall hearing that there gonna release a guide for that game.

Pokemon is weird in the sense that you have to grind to make it do certain things. Why not have a competitive mode where you can just apply attributes to them and then take it on like a card game? So much wasted time to have one perfectly trained. Same goes with FPS games nowadays. Why not have everything unlocked from the get-go so we can determine who has better skills? Oh no, we have to make you grind through multiplayer just to do what you want. It’s our way of putting in artificial game hours before the meat and potatoes get stale.

Pokemon and Yugioh are both way more broken than Marvel. at least Marvel I can control the outcome to an extent. Yugioh its really like “extreme coin flip”
