Cap needs 3 things. Invencible cartwheel, OTG move and a COUNTER move! He has a shield and don´t have a good defensive move, oh god! He had a counter move in a mugen version of mvc that I’ve played and it was soooo fun.

  1. maybe try invincibility only on the bottom half (from waist down) of his hit box but only when he’s upside down (with legs up) and giving his shield a (small attack) hit box when it touches the ground… but seriously no.

This is some feedback from No99 who enter a Ultimate MVC3, and he used Cap/Sent/MODOK

Cap is BUFF in umvc3… double-jump is there, and even better, jab shield slash now OTGs!!! In my first try I pulled air combo > OTG slash > launch > air combo > OTG slash > super. OTG slash is incredibly easy to combo after because it has huge range and also knocks them back towards you… Here’s the really shitty part (for me) they changed the slash assist somehow so now it doesn’t work with my modok combos anymore. :sad: I may have to switch him out in umvc3 for someone else… fuck. I love Cap. :sad:

Looks like Capcom is listening. But I still have to see it to believe. O_O! And with air xfactor activation things really change. Catching people with hyper stars and stripes and then air xfc to combo after.

I’m with you there, I would LOVE to see someone who actually knows what they’re doing, play Cap in this build…I just want to literally SEE some of the new stuff Cap has with my own two eyes.
I can only imagine how crazy otg slash would work, HOWEVER…what about when you’re in the corner? Does the shield still not allow you to combo from the corner (solo)?
