i haz a bucket!..er glitch!!!

catch zero as an assist in a happy birthday and make sure he dies without letting the point character drop out of the combo…

congratulations! due to his death animations being what it is, it does three things.

1 - resets damage
2 - resets hitstun
3 - allows you to combo with any unused combo rules such as wall bounces and ground bounces (remember its still technically the same combo!)

so you just happy birthday’d an assist whos most always played on point and can be a real bitch to deal with…your present is DAMAGE!!!

EDIT - not every combo will make the glitch occur! im still trying to figure out why it happens with certain combos and not others.

the combos i have had success with are…using my team of spencer (y,) nemesis (y,) and nova (b.)

footnote - both from zero (haha) meter started in the corner from a bare assist call into happy birthday.

spencer point - cr.:l:, cr.:m:, cr.:h: (w/ nemesis assist y,) ~ :s:, :m:, :h:, ~ :qcf::s:, :m:, :h:, :s:, j.:m:, j.:m:, j.:h:, j.:s: (zero dies here, glitch occurs,) :a1::a2: (THC,) follow up any way you can/want.

nemesis point - :h:, :dp::m:, cr.:m:, cr.:h: (w/ nova assist b,) :qcf::s:, cr.:h:, :qcf::s:, :dp::atk::atk: (zero dies heres, glitch occurs,) DHC to spencer hyper of choice and follow up accordingly.

I had an odd glitch happen about 2 weeks back and I have no idea on how to replicate it.

Online match, me using Mag/Vergil vs Doom
I did H disruptor xx tempest DHC devil trigger, then I did M teleport to get behind Doom. But for some reason, when I did the teleport, both characters disappeared off the screen. A second later, both of us came back, Vergil on the extreme-right side (I did M teleport from the left side), and Doom on the extreme-left side. Then the match played normally for the rest of the time.

Any ideas?

Special Capture Glitch…

it was in Vanilla marvel but it has never been published before this week… It could possibly be in Ultimate.

Has anyone realized that some H&H cards like “X”, “Ultron”, “Green Goblin” change hit stun deterioration so much that you can’t even do TAC combos when using those cards?

I’ve noticed that bug with cards that have effects with air mobility.

No, H&H’s hitstun is just different in general, such as raw tags not knocking down and some combos dropping when they wouldn’t normally

Can somebody explain?

This is actually rather easy to do.

Anyone else getting this on the main menu just as it starts?

About 2 months ago I had a friend download and installed his DLC costumes onto my PS3, everything worked fine for about 1 month until this randomly pop up**.**
I deleted the game data and also the game installation data as well. Also all of the DLC costumes he provided me are all gone.
Installed everything all over again 2-3 times now, with the latest patch. And now all still having this pop up. I cannot get rid of it.

I also tried searching online to see if anyone else has this problem as well and the only thing that pops up is here:

Apparently the dude got it to work for him. Tried those methods already but still the same result and problem.

What seems to be causing this problem? The current patch? Did Capcom patch this whole “DLC sharing” system?

tested it and got it with other characters. It just seems like a waste of 1 meter.

To do it, tag in a character and THC as soon as possible.

In this video around the 4:07:15 mark Dorm does a front grab but the opponent goes backwards.

Yeah it happens from time to time. There’s another little thing where if you do a backthrow and ADDF too soon to catch them while they fall, you’ll for some bizarre reason get ADDB.

You input :df:+:atk::atk: but get :db:+:atk::atk:, it’s odd.

HOLYFUCK yeah. I thought it was a problem with my stick or some shit, but it happens with every air dash character.

You have to add :uf:/:u:/:ub: at the end of your special/hyper move to jump cancel the launcher, with auto super jump it does that for you.

Thanks for the info. I assumed that a tiger knee would put me in the air, like in mvc2, which is why i never tried it. Glad I came here for the help.

I was playing a Thor today and i was using Spencer. I Bionic armed and X-Factor’d right as Thor used his command grab hyper. as the grab hit me he DHC’d into Iron Man’s Photon Cannon. For some reason Spencer appeared behind Iron Man and he couldn’t be hit and then it went through Thor’s hyper grab animation without him on the screen.

This just happened to me today. I did a front airthrow with Phoenix, but my opponent flew backwards out of it, as if i did a back throw.

I think it happens when the opponent is airdashing and you happen to grab them right as or a little after they go over your head. It’s like the game is trying to keep you going the same way by wall bouncing you over there. I’ve learned to recognize it when it happens, but haven’t really found a way to do it intentionally. I think it’s been in the game since vanilla. I just capitalize off of it whenever I can.

This is me doing the wall bounce web throw bug (doesn’t use wall bounce property). Probably the same with Dorm grab issue. I hope someone can explain so this tech can be done (or avoided) more consistently/effectively.

I can induce the bug on Thor by doing a kara sting and :m: web throw after a web throw to the corner. However, I have be able to get this sometimes during matches against other characters when I do a web throw to corner.

was using Nova/Hawk vs 5bars Jean. Did something like LMHS, (TK)PoTNF, (DHC to Kiss of Fire when Jean’s health falls to 0). as Kiss of Fire hit Jean, I mashed jHS w/Hawk. jS became a hard knockdown, as if DP was still in a “aerial rave” state (even though this should be a new combo that didn’t start one). Later tried with stuff like Task legion arrow to Firebrand install hyper with the same results.

At first I thought this was intentionally placed to prevent DP players from calling assists on frame1, but I later tried on a combo that didn’t start an aerial rave at all (i.e. Hailstorm->Install Hyper DHC on aerial Jean) and the followup jS just had a lot of hitstun, as it normally should. Prolly a minor error they forgot to account for or some ish. :zzz:
