It’s likely due to the reduced active frames during the XF speed boost. One of my friends always jokes that in theory XF3 skrull’s command throw should always whiff 'cause it’d go from 1 active frame rounded down to 0 in XF3. that’d be my guess on the cause.

Bout time someone recorded those things happening. Happens all the damn time when I play Wesker v Magneto.
Just played someone online, using Magneto, Iron Man, and Sentinel… After magneto died, while Iron Man was in, he crossover countered out of my Okami Shuffle hyper, to Magneto… Clearly heard Iron Man say the name, then he jumped off screen. There was no opponent for about three seconds, just enough for Okami Shuffle to end, then Iron Man jumped back in.
Latency glitch, maybe? I’ve never seen it before.
That’s the Kubota escape glitch. Look it up.
Other than TAC Infinite. Why is Air Dash ability card (from HvH card deck) quickly tech’s the juggled opponents on.
It’s unnatural.

I’m guessing they either wanted to make H&H “balanced” (lol) or just bad game programming, which is entirely possible with the dumb bugs in this game. Example, when you do Dr. Strange’s level 3 Dr. Strange says “Daggers of Denak” after the super flash, and the game has been patched three times since launch…
Managed to get the shadow world glitch off a dirt nap last night.
Spencer incoming into Repulsor lockdown, tried to zip away, X23 caught the dirt nap on the back side and got the cinematic reversed and shadowed. Went back to normal afterwards, though.
did frank west’s shopping cart super then dhc’d to bionic arm and after my opponent blocked the super all of a sudden franks cart hits my opponent from behind but frank wasnt there.sounds strange i know
Hi guys, not sure if this is an old glitch or not. Was just fooling around today and accidentally came across it in a match.
If you can’t watch the video, Hulk did impact punch and got hit by Spencer bionic arm. Then Spencer DHC into Spiderman’s Maximum Spider. Spiderman traded with the impact punch, got knocked away and Hulk ended up standing six feet in the air. He couldn’t walk, jump or do specials/hypers, but he could call assists and do crossover combination.
So this thread is dead-ish?.. but I discovered a potentially game-significant glitch if we can find out how to reproduce it. Sadly, no video proof, but it definitely happened.
I was running a team of Magneto(hypergrav)/X23(ankleslice)/Doom(missiles), vs. a friend’s team of V.Joe/Doom/Vergil.
I built up to 3 bars somehow, and using Magneto, killed v.joe in the (left) corner. I wanted to tag in X23, but my hand slipped, and I did THC by accident. Doom recovered first, of course, but somehow, I was now controlling Doom before the THC was over. When they recovered, Magneto and X23 left the screen, leaving Doom behind, instead of Magneto like normal.
We tried to recreate it a few more times in training mode, but didn’t have any luck. Anyone have ideas?
That would be incredible if you could make it work reliably.
Pretty sure this isn’t a glitch. When you launch a char, they have a sort of “launched state” which persists unless they get hard knockdown’d or the combo drops ; I would assume the dark phoenix transformation would end the combo without either of these and they did not program the transformation to get rid of the launched state.
trippin balls, that would be insane if it is consistently possible. Unfortunately I dunno if it will actually be replicable, even if the activation situation is as simple as dead character -> maybe cancel raw tag with thc
Could it not be related to the Kubota glitch? It almost sounds to me like you somehow cancelled the Kubota glitch into a TAC, so instead of cancelling into snap and causing the typical Kubota escape you cancelled into TAC causing an active switch during a TAC. I’m probably just talking shite but this is the only thing I can think of at this moment that might possibly have happened, since you said your self that you actually did try and tag but got this glitch instead.
Sorry for the double post, but does anyone know if the DOWN state after killing an enemy is the same state as the likes of super freeze?
Haven’t found anything especially funny-looking with this one yet.
RE: Hulk/Maximum Spider glitch- that’s pretty similar to what happens when you do the Speed Tackle glitch with Haggar’s level 3… See here. I wonder what the relation is to Maximum Spider…?

I always thought it had to do with chipping them out so that there’s still enough of the hyper left to “combo” them after they die. I see this happen a lot when I chip people out with Super Nova… Gonna mess with this later.
