I think Off also, It messes up a majority of the players which is bad, I feel like at each tourney RIGHT before the first match everyone should check each console make sure its on " off " sure it may take an extra 5 mins ( if its a LARGE tourney may take longer ) but if its done pretty quickly it shouldn’t be a problem. So standard should be " off " with a Check before tourney.
I heard pimpin is easy. I guess super jumps are the same.
why would anyone want to turn this off? cant you superjump the normal way even if its on?
As a circle gate, user I love this feature. Personally, I would encounter a jump lag with certain characters like Dante, and this feature resolves that issue, preventing me from having to switch out my circle gate for Marvel.
Off. It’s way too easy to accidentally hold S for a few extra frames, and you’ll get a superjump towards when you needed a superjump neutral.

I say it should be part of the control configuration (as in button checks) since if it’s in the options menu and there’s only a choice to turn it on or off, it affects both players, not just the one who has a preference for it (lord knows why though). I don’t know if the auto-jump does something like adjusting to a character’s height to make sure the air magic series connects, but I doubt it. may have been just designed for casuals who don’t know to hold up after S, who knows. one thing’s for sure is that it messes with my combos, so I really don’t like it. I’ve accidentally SJC’d Plasma Beams both in Vanilla and Ultimate after Doom’s launcher but that’s just a case of sloppy execution-- if auto-jump solves that, then that just makes you lazy IMO.
I say off just because it’s unnecessary, but if it’s on by default then I suppose it is on in my game and I didn’t even notice. Honestly, unless you hold :s: for some odd reason after launching I don’t see why it’d make much of a difference.

This seriously. Not a good mechanic if you can accidently fuck up combos. Id be salty as hell if I had to play with that on in a tourney.
@shine - by mistake you can hold it down for a split second and it will cost you a combo.

The one time I had this shit on…I wanted it off so bad. I remember one time trying to win a match and holding S down to long after i was gonna press up to super jump and then Doom just kinda sorta went up in the air and then just fell down instead of going up. I didn’t know what was going on till I realized this baby mode crap was on.
I wish this was an option you could just toggle between during character select like the Darkstalkers/Alpha/mid 90’s Marvel games’ auto block function.
