Sorry if my question was misunderstood. i just tried out the glitch and it does in fact still work. Swagneto is still there 
once you see the progress bar quickly run at your console and dropkick it off the table/surface hopefully dislodging the power cable
I bought the costumes (20.00) but those herald colors are a bitch to get. Does this work on Vita?
It still works, I did it last night to test and swagnetto was there as well as the child nova costume.

Well, if Capcom wants to fix this, I think they will need something more than a single patch.
Fix Hsien-Ko and Tron Bonne, give Arthur a dash, add at least 16 characters in the next expansion (cuz we know there will be one) and I may reconsider updating my game. Oohh, and make Blackheart an alt costume for Dormammu.
Anyway, online sucks.

Same here. It takes me several tries and I find it works best when I hold LB|L1 and releasing it a second after pressing back for the second time.

Still working in case anyone was wondering. I got really good at doing it, nailed it first time everytime. Than I made the mistake of mentioning to my girlfriend how easily I was able to do it. Now the character select timer isnt even enough time to do it because I mess it up so much…
