Well I really only expected bug fixes and nothing more. I think they’re pretty much done with what they want to do with Ultra itself outside of anything gamebreaking.

Galtu’s tweet reads: These are the characters files that got updated, but it’s common for extremely small parameters to be changed that don’t actually affect the gameplay so the likelihood of hidden changes is very small.

Or just didn’t notice it till now, most abels go for crLK post step kick AFAIK, though crLP does link to sHP if you get it. It’s also a pretty specific scenario for it to fail, you need to do a focus vs a crouching Rolento then keep doing crLP. If you stop chaining the crLP then Rolento will be forced to block it, he only continues to make it whiff while in that specific blocking animation.
It’s not costume related. Also right after that tweet was posted I made this and tweeted it back at sapporuji

Anyways, in regards to 1.05, I only glanced around a couple of the character files(like half of em). I didn’t see anything obvious though. The only reason I found the rufus thing is because I specifically thought to check for it, everyone else I dunno where to even start. Once Dantarion gets around to doing the ultradif of these chars I’ll go through them. Hopefully he also does the 16 chars that he never did in 1.04 because he didn’t know they were in different folders.

in addition I MAY look through the omega characters if Dantarion wants to bother doing a pass on the omega chars. Honestly I don’t really care and I doubt he does but if he bothers I will as well. All 44 characters appear in the patch folder for omega so there is a chance they updated more than just the ~30 they mentioned.

They adjusted her crouching hurtbox, more things hit her now during crouching. I think specific reeling animations might still have problems, and certainly there are problems with her standing, but they increased the size of her crouching hurtbox to get hit by things. Previously she could completely duck under Cody’s knife throw naturally unless hit during the first 2F active of knife throw when the hitbox is extended like every other fireball.
Unless you mean just aesthetically how is it hitting her, then who the fuck knows. How does Cody’s leg go through Bison’s chest if Cody does his hop kick when Bison slides? How Hugo duck sagat’s fireballs? Lol.
Dantarion expects to have the files done by saturday at the latest. So expect me to be done either that day since I doubt there will be a fuck ton of changes to write up OR the next few days if I do omega mode too

Dunno why you guys are surprised. I already told you guys that Rolento is an Omega character.
Omega Oni got a lot of new stuff. His aerial EX dashes got reworked, the forward and down ones nowk work like tackles, hitting forward and below respectively. On taller characters you can do stuff like “instant overhead j.LK xx EX down dash, j.LK xx EX forward dash xx j.LK xx HK Tatsu”. You can even get four jump-ins xx EX down dash in a row on some characters.
