Ultra 1 or Ultra 2?

I’ve been picking up Oni recently but I can’t decide between his U1 or U2. Which one’s better and why?

Even though I like U2 better I have to say U1 as I seem to never get the full animation out of U2 and U1 does more damage as a combo finisher

for the record, HK Tatsu + U2 does more damage than U1 off of an EX Slash. either that or U1 has mroe damage but by a very narrow margin.

I use Ultra1 for: Akuma and Cammy (U1 3 punches can work as anti-air beter then U2 in this case), Bison (3 kicks against stomps), Guile (lots of fireballs = EX Slashes also Oni U1 wins Guile U2)

And U2 for all the others
