Why lol? I think it’s a pretty decent question. Right now alot of people are basically saying “boo hoo no megaman, he must be coming as DLC.” I’m not saying it’s out of the question, but the cast is huge already. If you can’t find a play style you like out of the 50 already given to you, then maybe move on to a different game.

Exactly. Altho im more surprised people even care about more DLC character, I already ranted about there still being a million12309209 things to be discovered with the current 30+ character due to the team element of the game, and was kinda ‘’’…’’ at the announcement of a new version/balances, and people want even more lol. Not gonna lie I’d want Gene as a DLC char, but I dont wanna pay that much man lol. Euros here too, so 100 bucks total for still what imo should have been MVC3 + Shuma, Jill, Gene = 115 Dollars = 160-ish? Euros. I’d do it for sure If I knew I was gonna play most of the characters, but the thing is so far Im only slightly interested in 4 out of of those 12, thats why I’m/was against it, but hey, no footage shown yet, so I can’t judge.
And I see about God hand not selling that well and having mix-reviews, meh that sucks. Means there is little chance for a sequel due to all the other similar/style hack and slashers/action games out.
I’m just pissed at the fact there is a possibility Jill and Shuma will have to be re-downloaded. Oh well, at least I didn’t buy any Shadow Mode DLC.
Front page news on SRK has Niitsuma interview notes from when he was on stream. It says costumes and DLC characters carry over, the Shadow Mode stuff doesn’t.
Gene would have been cool. You could say the same about Amaterasu/Okami too except Okami was a critical smash. I think Ammy’s inclusion was one of the best bits of fan service this game got and Gene would have been similar. But in the end, whatever. Right?

Capcom has competition now, much like the mid-90s. With MK back in full effect, Namco readying TTT2 and KOF slated to try and make a triumphant return soon, they need to do everything they can to keep their fanbase happy (other than their handling of a certain Blue Bomber.)

You’re still making the same mistake. The console loads into the ram the characters you’re playing with during a match, not all of them, which is why additional characters is just a matter of memory space. Doesn’t change anything.
