Marvel did the best decision by including the lesser known Marvel characters. Marvel needs new fans for their other characters not just Casual Marvel fans that don’t buy comics and who only watched the 90’s cartoons and major films.

I’m so hype for the Future Foundation Spidey costume. I just hope they tweaked his gameplay such that his awesome-ness isn’t just his looks. When MvC3 first came out, and realized he was the same as before, then got to try out Spencer. I realized that Spencer is how Spidey should have played (in regards to the zip lining). I don’t know how they would pull it off but seeing Spidey play out onscreen should be more acrobatic…
Also they need to make Crawler Assault better. Either make it a level 3 with some epic cinematic sequence or just give it better comboability or fuck it even both! I hate not being able to use one of my favorite comic superheroes because he’s so sub-par.

Button config at character select wont eliminate button checks, you’ll still check them.
What they need is a “Restart Match” in the pause screen so you dont have to reselect characters after a button config.

You’d rather have to go into a game and hit the rematch button in the pause menu than to be able to do button config in char select and just go right into the game?
Or do you mean people will still go in and waste a game on checking the buttons.

The purpose of a button check is to make sure the buttons are set correctly after you config them. That’s why people set the buttons and then press them all.
Restart match eliminates reselecting characters after your button check.

Restart match works because it’s instant… the game doesn’t have to load stuff up again and you can be happy with your buttons without going back to character select. If you programmed buttons at character select, there’s still potential for you to hit something wrong and have to rinse, repeat.
Plus players have OCD- they’d rather test first then play.
Then again it could be worse, like MK9’s preset bs.
