Hm, I’ve been watching some of the stream, and while I know some things will change from this build to the next, I’m still not too sure. Liking the new characters, and can’t wait to see what the “leaked” roster will offer in the future, but I’m starting to think the direction they’re taking with MvC3 is just not for me. Granted yes, we haven’t seen high level play fully yet, and while damage seems a tad lower, I still have some concerns about the game. I really wanted to give this game another shot, but I just dunno – still fun to watch though.
The only way I would appreciate Nemesis being in the roster is if he can rocket jump.
So are guys going to preorder at Amazon (Clockw0rk and Mechakuma), Gamestop (Girls), or Best Buy (Elvis MODOK)?
Things got real at the end of the stream. They started telling people to go away and turned off the TV’s while in use. To be fair, the people left were probably all wearing Mega Man shirts, yelling slogans, and as we know, Capcom no longer stands for that kind of pro-MM bullshit.
On a more serious note, I think if Ultimate sells really well, we will get a third release with some more fan demands being met. If it bombs, Capcom will probably wash its hands of the matter and move on to something else. That in itself is bitter-sweet for numerous reasons. I like the direction Capcom is going in, generally speaking. It’s a lot better than it was throughout the 1990’s, and I think many people whining now were probably born in the late 90’s or later, so they don’t realize just how good they have it. Not to mention, if the industry always gave into to every demand the fans made, nothing would get finished, or have any focus whatsoever. I guess I can say that now as I’m getting my new Darkstalkers, but still!..

I’ve been reading the Guardians of the Galaxy comics one by one. Rocket Raccoon is legit.
If he’s anything like his comic book counterpart (which I would assume he is going to) he’s going to be great.
I’m sure he is. Capcom’s done an outstanding job translating over the cast.
Except Magneto, but his moves from Mvc2 were so stiff it’s hard to give them personality.
Clearly. It was just those 4 guys spamming the chat on Ustream and some dorks at comic-con (which, let’s be honest, loses you a lot of street cred when it comes to being threatening). 
He’s trying his best to simmer things down, but I think people would be more receptive to “I’m sorry, it was my call, I’m an idiot.”
I have about $30 down at Gamestop on my copy. Not because of the pre-order bonus, it’s just 5 minutes away vs. 20, and the people aren’t idiots compared to the Best Buy here. I literally had a dude who worked there look over his shoulder while playing Dungeon Siege III, say “you guys need a hand?” half-heartedly, then when I said no, he just unpaused and went back to playing. Every time I get a survey when I buy a DVD or something, I comment on that. They keep firing the people (or they are so stupid they forget how to breath, die, and lose their job), but the new ones do the exact same thing. It’s like a revolving door of idiocy. It’s only that one department at Best Buy though, and their customer service section is slower than my Grandma. /rant
I do like the GS pre-order bonus though, particularly the ones for Morrigan and Chun-Li. The pervert in me thinks the outfits could be sluttier, but these ones are still cool too.
I saw this shit yesterday… and got so hype. Rocket Racoon/Amaterasu/Red Arremer for team “Troll-A-N00b.” Or replace Firebrand with Felicia for dat furry goodness.
