Does anyone here know what Nova does? He looks fuckin sick. He my most hyped new Marvel character. I just don’t know what he does, who he is, where he comes from or what his powers are.
Nova is an intergalactic police man pretty much. He flies, can absorb energy, has 100 ton strength, light speed, can fire gravimetric blasts and manipulate gravity.
He is Rick Rider(cue the dick rider jokes) and from the Earth. Was a member of New Warriors and about IM level till the entire Nova corps was killed. He gained the full Nova Force(where he gets his powers from, only used a small portion and can’t use the full power or he will go insane. in Annihilation Conquest he became a Phalanx and used it and was on Surfer level + some aka planet buster with ease).
Plus he ripped the intestines out of a giant metal bug in Annihilation.
Google/Wikipedia/Buy the comics and read them, you have 3 months.

He shoots laser beams and stuff, has super strength, flight, and other stuff your average “Energy-based” hero has.

I really hated how they nerfed Dante, as a DmC fan I’m pretty sad and bitter about how bad he’ll be in UMVC 3. Zero Buster nerf I can live with and with the Tron assist it looks like I’ll need to be careful of throwing it out often.
dude, just 'cause they nerfed a couple of dante’s moves, doesn’t mean he’s automatically gonna be ass in UMvC3. dante’s still gonna be an insanely good jack-of-all-trades type character who can pull mixups and insanely long combos out of his ass off an air to air confirm.
He’s pretty much the same freaking character, you just can’t be as sloppy anymore, and they BUFFED devil trigger, idk what your #sadlife is all about.
I like how we addressed that at the exact same time, that was sick.
I had ZERO problems following up after his air throws, turn that frown upside down. 
Then you’re bitter for no reason. They toned down the hitbox on his sword as well as his hammer. Some of his old 30 second combos dont work anymore.
If thats something to be bitter about you should be glad to have a character thats still viable in a new version, many have been treated much worse.
Why didnt I expect a Dante player to bitch about his “nerf” OMGosh…they ruined him. Right?
word lol. I really don’t like how people react sometimes when their main gets hit with the nerf bat then suddenly he’s all… BALANCED?! by Jove, perish the thought!

I am sooooooo hype for Nova. I can’t wait to make his thread.
I hope they add replay mode ; it has helped me to improve my game in SSF4. I don’t know if it’s hard to implement that function ; I’m surprised that it wasn’t in MvC3 in the first place (unless the game was rushed)

and as far as we know right now, Dante didn’t get hit that bad with nerfs as someone said before he’ll still be the same just cant be as careless.
Phoenix Wright will prolly be that Doronjo/Captain Commando style character
think the [S]racoon[/S] entire roster is trash. Still want psylocke/characters I have a damn clue about.
Its crazy how weird hunches turn out to be true. I mean at this point who knows, but either way it goes:
-Phoenix Wright plays like he should (joke character, waste of a slot, Ultimate Dan)
-Phoenix Wright plays like someone else (who should have just been in the game ie: Captain Commando)
Since he’s confirmed at this point, I really want him to be less of a hardy har and more of a real slot because when we get down to the nity gritty tier list in a few more months nothings going to irritate me more than to see Phoenix not at the top and with very little fanbase once everyone see’s that he isnt good as hoped. Makoto SSF4 flashbacks im getting.
EDIT: EVERYONE wants Psylocke. Once original requests are appeased the others move up to the top of the list. Im sure Megaman, Psylocke and Gene are going to be DLC at some point.
