Just realizing Marn is a dick? Fighters gamers blow each other up. That’s what happens in a scene where only one man can win. LOL. He’s always been a man of opinion and he’s kinda right. Phoenix is simply a new concept Capcom decided to put together and they used the fighting game public to beta test her concept basically. Now that they know what they did that made her too good they can change her up so she’s more of a gamble than a crutch like she was supposed to be.
Either way there’s nothing wrong with Viscant pulling the old school card and just picking the absolute cheapest shit he could find to win. You cover your risks and play your best and hope it works out. That’s the old man play. When they tone down the stuff that was too cheesy we’ll see what happens from there but Viscant isn’t going to do to anything but what will stop you from winning the easiest.
Viscant took advantage of the fact that they made an old man game with easier accessibility for newer players in the year of 2011 and it paid off. I thought Tokido was going to be the one to do it but obviously Viscant is the best old man for now. In an era of gaming where people are afraid to be cheap and want balance changes and escapes for old man BS…a player like Viscant is gonna be tough to beat.

The characters I play all got buffed and the characters that gave me trouble all got nerfed. We are greatly pleased. 
Hsien-Ko seems to have received an overall speed boost. Her gongs come out much faster and the startup/recovery has been reduced, which should help fix the issue of faster projectiles (Wesker’s gunshot, Magneto’s disruptor) blowing right through it. The recovery on item toss appears to have been reduced and she has more items she can lob. Hopefully they fixed her bombs so that they explode on impact now, give her a Sepun-Bu that can be cancelled mid swing, and increase the duration of gold armor from 5 to 10 seconds.
Felicia got her aerial Delta Kick back and apparently it causes a ground bounce, which is huge for her. Her air game - or lack thereof - was one of her most glaring weaknesses.
There are rumors going around that Morrigan’s minimum scaling on her normals got increased, which would be a damage buff for her. The recovery frames of Astral Vision have been reduced, making it easier to use in a combo. The missiles from her Finishing Shower come out much quicker and can be controlled better by the player instead of simply being ‘leaned’ up or down. The new meter stealing Soul Fist alone should boost her popularity significantly.
What about Lei-Lei’s general speed (walking, dashing)?
Also, love the Morrigan buffs and hope they stay throughout the rest of the development (same with Dr. Doom).

Little factoid: Before quitting MVC3 my team was Dante/Doom/Morrigan (as anchor) and with all my mains getting buffs and some minor (Dante) nerfs, my team looks a lot better now. Really happy about Morrigan though as she was my best character (for some reason), and why I had her as anchor (also to take advantage of X Factor level 3 Astral Vision)
Just wanted to let you know that for Phoenix, a health nerf means more characters can viably chip her out on snap-in.
