And a teleport nerf. If Dark Phoenix ( the strongest character in the universe/game) can’t teleport behind you in the corner, why should wesker? It makes no sense. Not to mention Wesker is the most abused scrub character online due to random teleports. Make his launcher actually punishable because -1 on block for a LAUNCHER is BS to the highest degree.

Health yes. And XF comeback yes. And also perhaps chip on bullets. And perhaps launcher recovery. That’s all my complaints.
lol seriously dude? that’s your basis for why wesker shouldn’t be able to cross you up in the corner? for one his teleport is unique in that it makes him travel a set distance and does not track your opponent unlike dorm, phoenix or dante’s. second why are you judging a character based on how scrubby he is online?
Why couldn’t they just ditch X-Factor and maybe give characters more useful assists. Whats with all these nerfs???
Just wanted to say that at first I was apprehensive with the new reveals, but they’re gameplay looks pretty tight. Especially ghost rider. I couldn’t picture how he would work, but he looks like an omega red/spencer/dhalsim type char. I like his range, and I’m curious to learn the properties on his moves.
Also Hawkeye looked kind of wack visually, but he looks like hella fun to play. I wonder what the properties on his poison arrow is, and on his arrow super b/c it looks like it went through projectiles or attacks or something in one of the vids. Maybe he has some cool alt colors.
AND of course Strider looks badass.
Wesker doesn’t need a teleport nerf.
Wesker’s teleport is unsafe and isn’t anywhere near as good as Phoenix’s teleport. There’s no reason why it should be nerfed just because Phoenix can’t teleport behind you and she’s “the strongest character in the universe”, therefore no one can have things that she can’t. That’s canon logic that doesn’t belong in gameplay balancing.
Just because Wesker is abused online doesn’t mean his teleport is godlike. It means the netcode sucks and people can’t react to it in time. Fix the netcode and Wesker’s teleports online aren’t a scrub problem anymore.
His launcher is safe because the dude honestly has nothing outside of teleport and gun. He doesn’t even have a useful level 1. If his normals were unsafe he would have absolutely nothing at that point.
I shall miss the kawaii-desu Lei Lei. I do however like the title.
Does anyone think that the version we had tonight really is just a beta (I.E. Prett incomplete)? Ryu didn’t even have his new Shinkuu, nor did we see who that Lightning Tornado attack belonged to (Praying it is Ryu. That would be beyond godlike).
Also hope the health bars get tweaked to be much smaller, and make the assist health yellow (Blends in a bit too much right now). Lover the character select screen. It has much charisma.
I just noticed Hsien Ko’s pose in my new avatar is essentially her win pose from Vampire Hunter. Awesome.

Storm has a -1 launcher like that as well. Amaterasu has hers at -2. Wesker has gotten a health nerf, so its justified now.

In a game when most of the cast can once touch anyone under 1 mil health, that’s not too good. His strength is in his godlike mixup after a OTG shot to make you air reset. Seriously, Wesker only needs a health nerf.
Wesker is the most overrated character in Vanilla MvC3. He only looks so good because his Level 3 X Factor is retarded.
Amazing additions all around, but the lack of female characters is really strange.

And the primary reason a teleport nerf is needed is due to the launcher always being the followup to make it safe. And if you just so happen to get hit, guess what thats a free meter and a half for your opponent. Let alone how difficult it is for most characters in the game even get a full bar without doing some absurd combo (sans wolvie). Look i get it, you guys like Wesker and no one wants to see their primary get nerfed but balance is balance.

Uhm… what? If the teleport doesn’t make him the strongest, just what is the issue? Teleports are his game. I don’t use him, but nothing is excessively broken about him.
Everyone is retarded in XF3, the worst part is some are more retarded than others.
Really hoping for something of a change list at least for X-Factor. I really really hope it is refined and tamed.
