Actually now that I think about it the only thing that I’m REALLY worried about when it comes to the new XF changes is the fact that as of right now turning on XF makes you darker than the abyss. Um…I thought we already had a problem with Dark Phoenix mirrors where people look like each other? Now we gotta worry about 2 Strider’s looking like each other. That shit’s gonna be real fun on a dark stage also.

I know Shuma and Jill are going to be carry-over DLC, so they are not technically in the basic disc UMvC3 selection.
It made me wondered, at SDCC they weren’t selectable.
I hope we do see them at EVO or another event, it would be strange to have them “straight out of the dlc box” with UMvC3’s launch since they almost certainly had have changes as well.
I think Jill needs a lot of work and would appreciate Capcom addressing that rather than just letting her and Shuma-Gorath transfer over, untouched.
Actually I think Shuma needs more work than Jill, but that’s just my opinion.
From experience, in some matches Shuma has a hard time getting in due to his lacking mobility.
Black Panther is the best fighter in the marvel universe. His suit is advanced, he has so many gadgets. And there’s so much room to be cool with him.
Blade and Black Panther and war machine AND Bishop would all have been awesome additions to the game
Could just make X-factor a different colour depending on whether you’re player 1 or 2. Solves all guesswork. Red hue vs Blue hue. Or something like that.
Just don’t make it difficult for folks who are colour blind I guess.
I asked about this in the UMVC3 Q&A thread on Unity. I am awaiting an answer. I think it would be bomb if you could choose your own color from a small number of colors as long as it was different from your opponents. Probably not gonna happen, but it would be cool I could glow purple when XF activated.
You serious? If I recall his fighting ability rating is a five out of seven.Alot of characters have higher ratings. Deadpool, CapAm, Wolverine, IronFist,etc. Taskmaster is probably the best fighter in terms of pure ability due to his power,although Iron Fist is insanely good too.
No, he really isnt. Iron Fist, Captain America, Daredevil, Wolverine, these are all equally skilled fighers, if some not being more so.
Speaking of colors though, any word on how you select the new alt colors for characters?

You are techincally right, Taskmaster is up there, but Deadpool is considered the best fighter only because of his insane plans. His thought processes change so much that taskmaster is completely unable to mimic his fighting moves. Also, Deadpool is basically immune to telepathy. That is until Cable fixed him

Not much different from Marvel vs Capcom 3, in that respect. Wolverine, Phoenix, Magneto, Sentinel, Storm, X-23, and Deadpool. And people still beg for more, like Gambit, Cyclops, Cable and Psylocke.
I’d love a DC vs Capcom, but I guess it is true that there isn’t too much variety in superpowers. Still, Capcom could easily work around it, they’d just have to be creative with the moves.
