When tiering the Heavies, don’t forget about their most common assists and how generally-useful they are (disregarding specific team compositions, though I suppose an assist’s usage is determined by the teams they complement):

  1. Sent (Drones)
  2. Hulk (Gamma Charge)
  3. Nemesis (Rocket Launcher Slam)
  4. Thor (Mighty Smash? Help me out here)

I’ve been wanting to see a MODOK that move effectively as I’ve said before, simply because of how quirky it is. I think it’ll always catch people off-guard, at least for a little bit because of how rare MO’ is. I don’t think practicing under reversed controls is something pros are going to do much. Unless they fight a DOK regularly, of course.

anti wesker = me being better then the lot of them weaker players.

I’m seeing a lot of the same mistakes in streams and online lately. I think people become way too defensive when they’re opponent has XF3 active. It’s nature to retreat when the enemy is so strong and one could argue it is the optimal strategy, but I argue that if in SOME situations it’s better to keep with your gameplan when XF3 is active. If you can successfully rush down a XF3 character, you’re totally reversing your opponents strategy and wasting their XF3.

I’d say that’s a well thought out list. personally, I feel Nemesis is stronger than Sent, but I think we’ve all established that these 4 are close enough in tiers that any of them can be argued for “best heavy”.

I use Nemmy and Sent on my main team, and they have GREAT synergy. Their hypers all match up so well, and go both ways, it’s great. I prefer to put Nemisis first because, while Sent has that “I’m an asset to every team!” aspect, I feel like Nemesis is a heavy that was designed to be ON POINT, and he’s stronger as a result. Deadly reach is a contender for best poke in the game (I will argue this TO MY DEATH), and rockets are MUCH better than people give them credit for. They have durability out the ass, do great chip, deal a soft knockdown, can infinite assists, and TK’d rocket has a great angle. and straight rocket is great against the other heavies. his Resets are on par with Thor’s, and lead to great damage, and if you’re smart with it, his super armor is just as good as the hulk.

but I’m a nemesis main, so I’m super super biased XD

Wesker loses to most of the top tier, but he has so many fail safes (easy combos, high health, XF/shades bonuses) that he can make it a lot closer than it should be.

@Cosmic: Wesker does lose to Dante especially in DT, but just throwing out hammer in Ultimate is a terrible idea against Wesker. Like Orbs said, he can just air string/air throw you on reaction into a full combo.

Watching the Big Two, So many damn Weskers… Hard to believe all these top players would be whoring him out unless they believe he’s S tier

“Haggar assist is not that good, just bait it and mash c.l”

no biggie just another step towards complete global saturation is all

just lazy.

People are damn sheep. I can’t play online anymore because I’m playing the same teams every single match.

Who’s friggen idea was to make it that he gets stronger when he gets beaten up? That’s the single most retarded game mechanic ever. Damn, maybe a TIME LIMIT like 3 or 5 Seconds for it when he’s almost dead or something?

Vergil/Wesker/X
Wesker/Dante/X… And so on… I’m done with online.

Or make it activates when he has 25% health left or even make it drain his red health… The dumbest thing is that he takes them off when he does his hyper, but hey, atleast they nerfed she-hulk

And Jill, cause everyone knows she’s won all those majors and needed it.

Yeah, this one confuses me.

Before the game came out, S.Kill said they’d changed it so Wesker puts his glasses back on if he used his level 1. Wonder why they reverted it.

Wesker/Vergil/Dante… team columbine the most common team in existence

chrisg just bailed on firebrand again for wesker. but what do i know, i only registered a month ago.

Damn you are really butthurt about that comment huh?

is this true? i really liked watching his Firebrand. what a shame

Some people have to rejoin do to being banned on a previous acct…

That being said, dissing on someone due to their join date is pretty dumb and childish. If you wanna talk crap about someone on an internet forum just wait till they say something dumb, quote it, than talk lots of shit.

The commentators seemed to say again and again that Firebrand wasn’t doing enough damage and only building meter for the opponent more than anything. Still too early in the game’s life for this to be a constant theme, but it’ll be interesting to see moving forward I think.

Join date and post count mean nothing. I see countless 1,000 post+ posters who post ridiculous garbage everyday. Especially in this thread.

I joined pretty recently, but I’ve been playing fighting games (especially Soul Calibur) for several years. It’s ignorant, immature, and totally irrelevant to reference someones join date/post count when making fun of their post. Just use logic to insult their intelligence if you HAVE to insult someone
