well it isn’t the website I am worried about, its the 200 flyers illinite’s is printing for us. If all of them are like “SMASH BROTHERS!! … oh and some game named guilty something…” then thats not good.
For all of you who don’t kno, are RSO is limited to 27 flyers, but since we are doin it through illinites, they printed 200 that we are allowed to post on campus.

So according to the e-mail I got, illinite’s is slow on marketing. So the 200 flyers may come out as late as May 21st, so only one week to advertise. Which means… yosh… we probably still need those other 27 flyers if we want to get an early start.
Not only that… other than Show Me Your Moves that is gonna be May 15th, there is another smash melee tournament May 14th. Which was supposedly the one that got confused with the date of our event.
The illinites committee chair says that the website I saw the events on is not updated, and that illinites updates that stuff really slow.
Well, I guess the smash tournament on May 14th won’t effect ours. The players can warm up 2 weeks earlier (^_^).
Man, the late marketing plan kinda gets to me though cuz I set the date late so then we have a lot of time to advertise.
smym is april 15. i know thats what you meant. the illinites one the night before… will prolly have some crazy rules. i can only imagine… free for all top 2 advance or something like that with all items and all stages turned on.
as for marketing… i recommend no more than 2 weeks prior to the event.
