uh i duno about tekken. i think making it smash bros might get more ppl. but then again duno where to get gamecubes, etc.
Cubes are hella easy to find.
I have one (and 4 controllers) and a copy of Smash, Andy has one (and I’m sure he’d come down for the tourney), and lots of other people do too (though we’d probably only need 2 cubes anyway).
So… uh… yeah.

And Bridget doesn’t suck in Slash. It’s just that a lot of his bullshit was nerfed… just like everybody else.
Anyway, supposedly the tiers in Slash are a lot closer than the #R tiers anyway.
yea, smym is on the 15th. theres a few competitive uiuc melee players. in any case, drawing ppl for melee or smash 64 wouldnt be a problem. just make sure to post stuff in all the res halls. i know jason can help w/ that, especially if its 64.
what else hasnt had a tourney tho? maybe madden (or would that take too long?). that would get a whole new breed of player that you could get into your club or something. or double dash… thats fun too. or mario tennis!!

i played my friends in smash bros yesterday and one guy who used peach kicked all our asses. how do you beat the radish throwing? she’s pretty strong @_@
my kirby sux…but i’m only comfortable using him lol.
you can catch the radishes/turnips by pressing A if thats all shes doing. kirby kind of has a tough time with… most characters. try to be evasive in the air and use a lot of your backwards ariel attacks.
is ice climbers good? they seem pretty strong, but i have a hard time keeping track of both of them and then one usually ends up falling off a cliff :-S
i wuz thinking smash melee over 64. mainly cuz melee is more of a competitive game now.
So anyways, i am still waiting to hear back bout illinites for our “Slash and Smash” tournament. hopefully this brings a lot of people.
