Yeah, so i might be up in champaign wedsday and might be able to play some. We’ll see, id love to play some t5 and 3s.

I’m pretty sure I won’t be playing on Wednesday. But I’ll be hanging around in Champaign until Monday to take care some stuff, so I’ll be up for some games over the weekend if anybody’s still here by then.
EDIT: On another note, I really want to learn 3S now. I actually had a blast playing it last Wednesday. Somebody teach me to become a acceptable scrub for Ryu or Alex!

I just finished half of my revisions for one paper before realizing I have a huge philosophy exam tomorrow. So instead of working on my autobiography… I have to study for a fucking test.
Therefore I have to work on my autobiography and revisions for 2 other papers tomorrow night. :lame:

So there was a smash tourney at Illinites this weekend. I had some friends, and one who was visiting, who played a lot of smash so I went to go watch them play.
Kudos to Andrew on the tourney, the tournament rules and all were just retarded.
Anyways, I was thinking, we should run a tournament through illinites. They pay for everything, admission is free, basically the prizes (which are cash prizes) are all provided by the Illini Union Board. All we have to do is tell them what we need, rules, and setup.
I figure for publicity purposes, we would need a better known game. As much as I would like to have a Guilty Gear tournament, I don’t think Guilty Gear is a big enough name on the campus. I think having a mini-tourney through the IUB would be okay, but not as the main attraction.
So I was thinking, either Tekken 5, or Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike.
I dunno, any suggestions? opinions?

well, i think that there should be a decent amount of interest. There seems to be a lotta random 3s players around, and besides, the tournament would be free.
orka: we don’t have to pay for nethin, the people playing don’t have to pay for anything. no entry fee. All we have to do is set everything up for them and the union will pay for the prizes. We can also do cash prizes for this. Since the people playing aren’t paying money, it isn’t gambling.
