I think it’s September 3rd or something… I dunno, I’ll have to make sure.
Dan-
Heh, yeah, I thought you meant something along those lines. But maybe this year there will be some freshman prodigy who comes along and kicks everyone’s ass. Who knows, right?
I think we’ll have to hold off on playing VF until we can find some other interested players. I can only play for so long before I’m like “fuck it! Let’s play #R!”.
Yeah, thanks for all your help on quad day today (Chojin, Bastef, FANTASTIPO, and several other people who aren’t here). It wuz real good, I appreciate it. Otherwise, I would have to be out there all day and by myself.
We had about 70 people sign-up, and we currently have about 8+ people in the club so far. Let’s see how this goes.
Basically, this is the thing. I won’t get a reply about space reservation until tomorrow at 3 pm. So, right now, we can just have casuals and try out rooms, if they dont work, move somewhere else.
I would like to have our officially first session very very soon. Like tomorrow, but I won’t have the space reservation form approved until the afternoon.
I think maybe we should just all assume its approved, and contact people for tomorrow. At worst, maybe we can move it to chojin’s apartment?
I was only joking. How are we gonna do this though? Most of us play GG, but the majority of people that signed up seems to be more interested in Capcom games.
I mean, are we gonna make FANTISTIPO responsible for all that? It will be a heavy load for him.
we can see who shows up that is actually good who might want to run other branches.
I am thinking we can seperate the games by the days, say we put tekken on one day, and guilty gear on another and seperate the games accordingly.
Cuz personally, I have no interest in playing MvC2, or SoCal2. I might play casual CvS2, but I have no interest in actually learning how to play the game well.
For the very few who might be interested in seeing melty blood, we can play in my dorm every so often.
