i personally liked the 3/5 rounds single game format we used for first clash. i think it made the match a bit more exciting, and it’s more japanese-like. except that we do double-elimination… and play on console… D:

As for the format, 2/3 games is usually the norm, but personally, I find that boring. One game 3/5 rounds is good to me.
