i’ve been actually sitting down and practicing slash for a change. aside from cleaning up my overall shittiness, i’m in the process of learning bullshit with dizzy that may or may not be practical in real game setting.
o yah and i’m going back to chicago (AGAIN!!) for brother’s high school graduation. funny how this will be the sixth high school graduation i will be attending.

Yeah… but I’ve learned that Eddie execution really isn’t all that hard. I mean, I can do the unblockable setups, double shadow gallery combos, etc. Learning to control Eddie puppy though? I dunno, it seems so esoteric. I’m not sure that it’d apply to other characters that well.

Yeah, but at the same time I could execute all of the important combos and oki traps and stuff for essentially every character in #R except for Eddie, Zappa and I-no and it didn’t solve my base problems of sloppy reversal timing, missed dashes and stuff… the list of characters I don’t know shit about has grown to “everybody but Anji, Testament, Sol, Ky and Bridget” but I feel like not having a single version of Eddie on my resume is an embarrassment. I don’t like I-no and I liked Zappa better when he was called Dio so whatev.
Nives: My personal opinion is, especially in America, we won’t be qualified to say which characters are prohibitively weak or have too many disadvantageous matchups for some time. Cue is winning all over the place with Eddie and Alex is winning all over the place with Dizzy.
i am low tier. thus dizzy is low tier when i use her. 
but i won more casual matches when i used ky. :o

jerry and scott, i was thinking about how the club should run things this fall. aside from the fact that i think we should have a ‘real’ booth (at least get a table, if not electricity) and a non-ugly poster board, we definitely need to have a tournament on the first weekend. i’m thinking gg and sc3. maybe t5 but that’s outdated, and maybe 3s but i don’t know how many competitive players are left on campus. and do i need to take care of some paperwork and stuff?
ah, i just heard a lot of eddie complaints at ecc, and i said, “i think eddie is fine.” though, i got a lotta disagreement when i said that.
yosh: well, okay, i still cant rent out a table, so we either have to buy one (and then we can return it later) or borrow one that someone has. more importantly, my poster board wuznt ugly! newayz, i dunno what else we can do bout the poster board other than buy one at the beginning of the year and design it later.
well, the illinites staff isnt around now, so we cant really use illinite’s stuff. ebgames? though we have to do gift card prizes again to get around that “paying money to get money as a prize is called gambling” rule. The tournament will most likely be gg and sc3 or else gg and smash again. gg and 3s wont bring that many ppl i dont think.

Um… so my friend Danny might go with us up to MWC, and I know Stephane wants to too. So it will probably be me, Yosh, Danchin, Danny, and Stephane in the car. It’s only a 2-3 hour drive though, so 5 people shouldn’t be that bad.
