to jerry and chris… if you ever run across everclear, don’t touch it. i was in tennessee 2 summers ago and had moonshine. needless to say, the result wasn’t pretty. the shine i had was diluted, but it was still good enough to mess me up for the next 2 days.
imagine what the hell even a shot of 190 proof grain alcohol would do to a living organism. seriously, that could make you go blind.

Do you all get sponsored official-like by the school? UI ought to pony up some cash for a good, clean club like yours.

Other than the location, this tourney (I assume you’re talking about SMYM) has nothing to do with UIUC. It is/was an independent tourney that is fan-organized and fan-run. It would be nice to get sponsors and such, but it’s ok that we dont. I don’t think we met, unless you are “Mike’s sparring partner.” My name is Andy, and I ran the MBAC and GG/ tourneys.
To everyone else: Thank you very much for supporting the tourney. I think a lot of the smash people were really impressed with what was happening in our part of the room. This goes for both Melty Blood and Guilty Gear. Always a pleasure to see/play/hang out with you guys.
I’m glad you also got to see how the smash community runs its tourneys. Tho this comment really isnt for you guys… I feel that the fighting game community could really benefit by being more accepting of Smash Bros.
