Tarkan X, How about I continue your legacy and do this at FRXI?

not sure at all about Budokai 3, Ven might know?
from the footage i’ve seen Ven and GeorgeT ( beastly Goku ) are up there.
TMNT:TF: Sabin, Jeron, Sanford, Zar, Zaelar and Spooky are who you want to get at…
in 2006 MKK Kompetitive out of South America had a TF tourney, Hanzo Hasashi would have the results

Haitani won Vampire Savior at SBO 2004 but it’s come a ways since then, and before that Daigo was unquestionably a monster but then you have Shiro, Ayanami Lilith and others that never really got as much attention but probably still play…
last tourney i think was Mikado’s 2 on 2 earlier this year, Ogawa ( Eddie player ) was in it but I dont think he got very far.
from nohoho’s entry about it : http://curryallergy.blogspot.com/2007/06/vampire-savior-vids-052707.html
EDIT: http://curryallergy.blogspot.com/2007/03/mikado-vampire-savior-showdown-022407.html
^nohoho states here that Nasu (Sasquatch) and Sakai (Zabel) are the top Kanto area VS players, they play at Mikado and have played Daigo and Haitani. not sure of the chances of them coming out to Evo but they still play, as they had a big set earlier in the year at Mikado.

You can help me with this at FRXI, but ShinBlanka won’t allow me to do this in the main room, so it will ahve to be moved to the hotel room.

4649: Thank you very much for those results, the search engine is garbage; it will only let you search for results for this year (and it won’t let you search for words under 4 letters.) And for the double post, my computer pretty bad, pages won’t load up, WAY too much slow down, even though no viruses have been detected… I could’ve been done with this hours earlier, but this computer has too many problems, and we already to pay $200+ to get it fixed a few months ago…

Shinblanka, won’t let you do it in the main room because of space issues. I’ll see if I can hold down some TVs after a tournament is ran, or we can advertise a Minor Tournament hall. Either way, we can’t get around the limited space.

JDash: That would be very good to this… although the tournament directors might probably take away the unused television for the major FRXI tournaments… I’ll try to bring my own, or just play in the hotel room after the tournaments are done for the night.

Updated the 2nd post with the tournament information that I previously posted.

I am one of those directors, its just if we get TVs, it will be after a small tournament is finished. And, if the tourneys are winding down, they won’t need more TVs (unless they put CVS2 on Saturday for some ungodly reason).

Well that actually went:

1st: RZP
2nd: Hanzo_Hasashi
3rd: Humberto

And TarkanX thx for your support to the UMK3 comunnity!

That has happened here various times when we run multi games tourneys. One example of them was when we held a T5 and UMK3 tourney. More than half of the crew were LOL at UMK when I turned the machin one and after that only one person was not watching anbd yelling at the finals of UMK3.

Hanzo: If you can, please list all (or most) of the tournament results from major South American tournaments… it would help TREMENDOUSLY, as we would finally have international competition to compare against for this. I hope to one day go down to South America, and we could have some true international competition, instead of just a national or regional tournament.

you’d have to get ninjagrinder in on that too if you want info on the South American scene, check this out:

circa nov. 2005 they had a big columbian tournament, not sure about tourney stuff since then but he would have the answers.

I will just gimme some time.

That will be the wish of more than one come true!

Ol here we go, I will make a little comment on each tourney to male them more enjoyable…

NOTE: I will only list the MKK toyrneys because we have little or inaccurate info of the south american scene aside from colombia, from wich Ninja_Grinder shall provide the data. The nimbers in () are the points awarded for winning, 5 to the 1st, 3 to the 3nd and 2 to the 3rd. All other contestants get 1 point for participating.

Do you have more results of UMK3, since I only see one result from your post… I also heard that you had some TMNT: Tournament Fighter tournaments, can you post the results, or did you only have one tournament that you recently posted:

EWAShock: Please post all of the results (majors only,) I’m going to try and tabulate the first MK power rankings since 1995.

No man, 2006 was when the thing began seriously with the mkk ranking and all…Previous tourneys were gooy and bad elaborated so they are not worth mentioning.

Although 2007 has been a year of experiments with the tourneys and events, we havent had as many as we will would like for family, work, stuff…

2007 results are:

NOTE: We are not the ppl who rans the Tekken tourneys here in Venezuela and that tourney was done with the solely purpose of gathering more ppl and as a side tourney too, so most of these players are not in our rankings…for now…

MKK Official Tekken 5 (5.0) tourney:

Excellent event with lots of new faces and lots of ppl who played MK previously but passed on it to play Tekken. these players are warming up again thx god for a future tourney. Like 40 players attended. Dont have the full name list right now…

Alfredo 6
Shadowmaster 5
Romell 4
Jormantag 3
Kanfei 3
Evil_Heater 0
Johnny 0
Oscar 0
Hermogenes 0

1 point was given for each victory

Yes, and some Tekken 5, but the fanbase here is limited, MKT gets far more demand, either for being a console game or for the broken factor.

TF just got that tournament but the game is getting some interest rising again thx to some casuals we decided to play last night and believe it or not… we played War Gods after a long time! That game got here some competitivity so let me see if I can record some casuals soon.

NOTE: It seems like Midway can threw a can with s*** here in Venezuela and ppl will play it competitively… LOL

Hanzo: Can you get Ninja_Grinder to post here and answer the tournament results questions? I’d like to know more about the Columbia scene, also, do you have King of Fighters (or SNK in general) results? I always hear and read that South America is a big place for KOF98, 2002, and XI.

I updated the first post with Venezuelan power rankings, didn’t include MKT rankings for obvious reasons…

Updated first post with UMK3 USA and NA power rankings. This one was a little hard, since there were people who deserved to be ranked on the list, but weren’t do to not being active, or placing low in a tournament, which prior to the tournament, they previously placed high. I tried a unique points system to see how that would turn out, but it looked pretty bad, so I just went with the regular power ranking, with an honorary mention.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (USA)

1. CRAZY DOMINICAN (1) - FLORIDA, USA (USA CHAMPION - 5/2007); LC 5/07
2. Mach 1 - East Coast, USA; LC 5/07
