Yeah, pictures have recently been put up. They’re smaller than the lithos and 4x as expensive. But at least it will keep the guys that wanted original artwork happy!

The lithos is a reproduced piece of an existing cover. These are original artwork done by the artists and it is one of a kind. So you really cannot compare the 2 I guess…

I might be putting up some of the original pages of the SF book for sale in the future… so stay tuned.

Sorry I have not been around. It has been extremely busy for me the last few weeks starting from Ny con and then catching up with a lot of things as well as helping our Korean partners relaunch their operations. There’s a lot going on in the background that you guys will probably never gotta see. Also in negotiation with Capcom for licensing renewals and stuff too.

For now, I am not sure what the status of DS is. We planned on getting it out sometime in the summer with a creative team set, but the penciller pulled out stating personal reasons so we are now back to square one… with no suitable artist on the project yet again. Sorry to be bring in the bad news for DS fans, but you know we care about the quality very much and we wanna assure that when the book comes out, it will be a good product that is worth your money!

I will update you when I have more news.

but you aren’t giving up on the comic are you,Udoneko,you will find someone to pencil if not this guy right?Please finish this series along with street fighter.I want two whole complete series of with great finales.Udon is the only one that can do this! Delays happen,fine,but don’t give us incomplete masterpieces.

Exactly.

Just because someone can do pretty pin ups doesn’t mean they can do sequential art.
It also doesn’t prove he can do it at that quality consistantly and under rigorous deadlines.
How is he with editors? Does he make the necessary changes required in a timely manner without a lot of bitching?
Does he even want to do comics? Is it just a hobby to him?
Is he even avalible?
His location says from France, so that could also cause problems shipping the art back and forth.

There’s a lot of factors involved, you can’t just hire some random guy because he can draw a couple characters well.

Deviant art is also notorious for having flakey artists. They agree to a job, then turn little to nothing in and drop off the face of the earth. I’ve experienced this first hand already with several colorists and creators.

Don’t get me wrong, this guy has some really kick ass stuff, but that doesn’t mean he’s automatically right for this job.

I seen that creon guy do sequential art. He isn’t that great trust me on this. His bg work is bland. bad camera angle from panel to panel. On top of that he does not know composition. This guy is tangent heaven.

Other than that he is good, but he needs alot to learn. Still a rookie in my eyes.

Well it’s a pure hasard I found that discussion lol
I just passed by and really want to thank you all for the kind words about my art.
I personally contacted Udoneko a while now… but i think he was really busy and couldn’t answer. ( sorry again Udoneko ).
So yeah, you’re totally right, an artist can be awesome on pinups and really ugly on pages… but i swear it’s not my case. eh eh.

Now i’m currently working on my own comics project.
'Hope i could tell you more about it soon.^^
