Well, I asked around game room on friday. They said that the guy running it didn’t want to do it anymore and sold it to another guy. Why someone would no longer want to run the machines is beyond me. It certainly didn’t seem that hard…
He did suck at replacing/fixing parts though.
Do you UCSD third strikers play only on campus? Or do you venture out in the San Diego area to battle?
Well, flightz and I have driven to Denjin once, but I don’t know if we’ll be able to make a trip like that again for a while. As for more local comp, campus is preferred although I don’t mind too much driving elsewhere for it if I have to.

WELL, if you still care about 3rd strike, we are having an on-campus meet-up played on EMU with donutholes’ sticks. they’re mayflashes that run sanwa buttons and ls-32 sticks. this will be TOMORROW! sorry for late notice, but people come!!!

3rd strike fridays are still going on at the Price Center Ballroom area where the K-girls hang out.
we start around 11am and go until 3pm (when there are other people besides me and donutholes). if it’s just me and donutholes, we’ll pack that shit up early… like 1pm. heh.
support 3S and come out and play between your classes. SUPPORT 3S, dammit. SSFIV is next week, 3rd strike is forever.
and if you happen to see us, dun know us, but want to play, get in that shit. we dun bite.

I used to play at the 3S machine occasionally, although I was never really good at 3S. I was pretty shitty at that game, lol. Any of you guys play SSF4 or 3S on GGPO? Any of you still meet around the UCSD area?

i wouldn’t say that any of us who play 3S really care much for Super.
hopefully, we will be starting up another time to meet up like last quarter for 3S on campus run on emulator.
