Hey guys, I’m a second year at UCSB (live off campus) and am looking to play. I figured some local matches would be cool and a good experience.
I play MvC2 (scrub) and Super Street Fighter 4 (scrub as well). I also play a bit of HD Remix (did I mention I’m a scrub?). I have never played Third Strike. Hell the only game I can say I’m kinda good at is Melee (haven’t played in forever and Brawl made me lose my tech skill, so I’m probably a scrub again lol).
If you (and anyone else) can tolerate that, I’m down to play Marvel and whatever else.
where you live? and whats your mvc2 team
I live in Tropicana Gardens (it’s across the street from San Clemente I believe).
As far as my team, I usually play random characters. None of my friends back home were too good so I get to play whoever I want.
My 2 main teams are:
Magneto/Iron Man/Sentinel (My “serious” team. I can’t do anything, but I like to “rush down” with these guys. I doubt I could do well with this team against good players)
Mega Man/Anakaris/Ken (My “old-school” team. This is the team I first used when I played the game. Again, this was just me in the arcade messing around)
I actually haven’t played this game in forever (playing it right now to confirm teams). I’ve been playing and practicing SSF4 lately, but I’m always down to game.
EDIT: I should make it clear, I’ve never looked up anything for MvC2 as I felt it really wasn’t necessary. I’m sure I can learn combos, try to learn Magneto, and what not if I just look it up and try it out, lol.

Oh Whaaaaaaaa! I see Tropicana Gardens outside my window. I live on El Colegio and Em. del Mar. Ya if you ever wanna play/learn marvel, I can show you. I play on DC though so not sure what console/stick you got. I also play some SF4 (not so much) but forgot my disc at home for the 360. Or if you just wanna make a new friend and kick it too thats cool. Maybe go Chumash or Zodos or somethin.

The only thing I take from FreeFreenite is his money in mvc2 and C_LO! Dogface show! :rock:

I got a 360 TE stick (dual-modded) and a copy of Super Street Fighter IV. I’ll be down to play whenever, just send a pm (as I may not catch it in this thread) and we’ll meet up when we can.

i go to ucsb too. havent played fighting games with my friends since i moved up here, and recently i just had a craving to play- as im stuck here with cod:mw2 as my only game. anyways, i was wondering if there was a gaming scene over here?- if anyone plays super, marvel, or melee for fun. im dying to play but i have none of these game hahah, let me know whats up around here. thanks and peace!

hey, i just cleaned out my PM box. I only play marvel on DC or sometimes XBL if friends aren’t over. San Clemente apartments is my place on el colegio and embarcadero del mar
