Has anyone else noticed an increase in lurkers around SF4 during the day? Yesterday was the first day I have worked since the console release and it seemed packed in there. I think that eventually these lurkers will begin to play at the arcade, hopefully after they buy a decent arcade stick at home and practice the motions.

If you guys want to reserve spaces on campus I think you need to be part of a campus organization like a club. This could give rise to a campus fighting game club or something, with bi-weekly sessions as club meetings. Then we can advertise and whatever, all we have to do is have a campus account and fill out the form, no hassles. What do people think about a UCD Fighting Game Club?

I appreciate the offer, but as Kevin so noted, it’s way too much time and work for anyone too handle. I got alot of stuff on my plate as it is and school is continuing to treat me as its sex slave. Anyways, I had a long day. Let me tell you guys how it went:
So I wake up at 6 am for my 7:30 ENG 106 class. Its a pretty tough class. Its basically an economics class for engineers. Yeah, since its early I pretty much slept through the whole class. I was half awake and I could hear the professor talking about deprecitation and return analysis or some shit like that. After that I walked over to the library to study for my EAD 115 midterm which I would take at noon. For those of you who don’t know EAD is engineering applied science, whatever the hell that is. Normally I go to eat breakfast after ENG 106 but I didnt becasue of my midterm. Studying was pretty chill. But the mistake I made was studying at a computer. So I would study for 15 minutes then take a break to surf the web. This went on for like 2 hours before I finally clamped down and tried to cram all this material for my midterm. I printed out all the lectures and went over all my past homeworks. Thenj I made a cheat sheet. I felt I was pretty ready so i finally headed over to Roessler 55 at 11:30 to take prepare for my midterm.
The midterm started at 12:10. I take a glance at the first question. Its something about using the golden search rule to find the number of iterations to minimize an interval of a function to a certain length. Now Im like WTF is this shit?! So i skip it and head over to the next question. I kinda know this one. It’s about using the Newton Method. Part A wants you to find the condions that must be met for the process to be executed. I know this pretty well so i circle all the options that apply. Its pretty much jsut checking to see if the function is differentiable and double differentiable at a certain point and making sure the second derivative does not equal zero. I felt I nailed that question. On the next question I get as well. So youre given a function and first what youre asked is to find the gradiant. All you have to do is take the partial derivative of the function with respect to variable 1 and then take it to variable 2. Then you plug in the given point to find the partial derivatives at those certain points. Next they ask you to find the functions Hessian Matrix. Then you take its inverse. For those of you who dont know what it is you just plug in the numbers that correspong to second derivaitves at certain scenarios (I dont feel like going into deep detail). Finally You take the matrix of you’re given points and add that to the negative product of the gradiant and hessian inverse you found in the first two parts. The last question was just finding a linear interpolation which Im sure all you guys can do. Yeah . . . That was my midterm. I ended up getting the wrong answer for the first question I skipped.
Finally I drove home after my midterm and chilled, which brings me here now writing to you guys how my day was. Yeah, Im ready to relax and watch some NBC Thursday Night Lineup. Oh, and let me tell you guys something before I go:

Cool story, bro. But let me tell you about my day.
I wake up at 6:45AM and do my usual school preparation nonsense. I get out of my room and see that Marty is already is already on the couch watching some sort of ESPN Sports Focus, and Im confused as fuck. Afterwards, I open my new box of Frosted Mini Wheats (fuck yeah), and finish getting ready for class. I then remembered that I had ran out of water, and the water dispensing machine at Safeway was broken, so I take my 1 gallon bottle of water to class so I can bring it to Savemart up north later. As I get to class, I notice the girl that usually sits next to me wasnt in class today, so I leave that side of the lecture hall and sit next to this other girl that I know. She then offered me some pocky or some shit, but I just fell asleep in class. After class, I was gonna walk her to her next class, but I was going to be late and so I said fuck it and cut out. I then catch the G line to get my water.
On the bus, I ran into one of my best friends former love interests. She then sits next to me and starts talking about all this bullshit that no one cares about, just like all women do. Finally my stop had arrived, and I was ready to get some damn water. I then remembered that David was online earlier this morning, and I was going to pester him and ask to get some McDonalds breakfast because the hot cakes are the shit, but I was already across the street and the girl was on the other side of the street, and if I ran back to that direction, I would have looked like a stalker, so I said fuck it. After finally retrieving my rations, I go to Quickly and realized that it was closed, so I decided to head back home. However, the Q bus had just left, so I had to take the J bus back to the Silo and then the W line just to get home.
I then went home, and ate some breakfast. Eggs and hash browns can never go wrong. As I was eating, I was practicing SF4 and realized that I knew how to do Sagats FADC, f+HK, Ultra (not that it matters since I dont use him). I was then late for the bus to class, and had to catch the next one. During the first 5 minutes of class, I was asleep, waiting for an excuse to leave. Cameron then text messages me and tells me to give back the dremel or he would tear me in half like Megatron tore up Jazz in the Transformers movie. So, scared shitless, I ran home, got the dremel, and got back to the MUGA to give it back.
I then go back home again and run into these long ass posts. What the fuck, seriously.

Apparently, Kevin and Marty really hate long posts. Fortunately for them, I spent all of my long-post rage on someone trying to implement wacky ideas into a David Sirlin product (that would be Kongai, though no one here plays it), so I think I’ll stop there.
