That shit did 60% to Ryu, a character with normal life. If it was scaled, that ultra deals retarded damage. Boxer’s headbut>ultra doesn’t do more than 40%, and ryu and sagat’s ultra combos do maybe 50% with a full bar. Ryu and Sagat also require 2 EX bars to land their ultras after a combo.
Gouken can land his ultra from a throw, it doesn’t require any EX meter, AND it does a shit load of damage. That factor alone doesn’t necessarily make him ban worthy, but if he doesn’t have anything more that makes him banworthy, SF4 just got a new top tier character.

Looking at the SF4 rank thread here, I feel optimistic about learning how to play Viper (that is, of course, if I ever commit to the game any time soon). Of course, training would be half me learning how to use her properly (not necessarily spamming Burning Kicks like… oh, what’s her name… no offense, of course) and maybe half Roy raping me with practicing EX Seismo --> EX Burning–> Ultra, if not practically everyone using me as practice.
I guess it comes with learning how to twitch in such a short time.

Anyways, David if I’m hearing this correctly, you’re gonna get SF4 tomorrow? I guess it sucks for the MU when the game comes out on console, though Dan keeps on telling me about an arcade patch. But it’s all good. No more Jack or Sean to deal with since they both have next gen consoles. Dang, I hope Andrew and Tanaka are gonna get console versions too.

Even if 4 is now on console, I think all of us will still be making our regular trips to the muga. The purpose of console for me is to improve my technique so I can have better matches at the muga. I think that applies for a lot of the other people here too.

^ Dennis’ 360 is modded too so we could have two matches going on at once, or some CvS2 or something going on the side. Probably won’t be necessary if it’s just 3-6 people but if it’s more than 6 then we could. (good thing it’ll be at my place, I got more space than Aure and he lives by himself)
My 360 is modded so… yeah. It won’t be done until tomorrow afternoon (I’m only getting 40kb/s, pretty infuriating since I usually get 600kb/s from this site) but I don’t want to have a session on a Wednesday or a Thursday.

So today while playing some scrub Honda I noticed a slight glitch. I’m not sure if this has been described before but as Honda woke up I attempted to throw him with Chun, he was standing and my throw went through him (you could actually see her hands behind Honda’s back). Honda then did that gay command throw.
Oh yeah we are in talks to possibly obtain Blazblue. Scott let me know what you think about this…
