What the hell is the problem with the LCD screen? I haven’t seen anything (wasn’t there today), is it something I should work on tomorrow. I need more explanation please.

Yesterday the screen was going crazy-It would have a “video reset” message in the center of the screen, then it would go blank. When we did a soft reset, a different problem occured in that the sides of the screen were black (cut out game screen). The front cabinet is the only one working improperly.
So today someone hooked up a small monitor to the outputs, and the game screen for the front console is now a 13" one, with the main screen completely black.
I assume, yes. One of the screens isn’t displaying anything, the one at the front of the cave entrance(the Master?).
I guess one of the MUGA guys decided on a ghetto-fix and connected a small 15" Dell lcd monitor( and left it in 4:3 aspect ratio). I’m not exactly sure what the problem is though, but the screen was flickering on and off since yesterday.
Maybe Matt/Jack can expand a bit since they were there yesterday when the whole thing first happened.
All of a sudden the screen stopped working like the cable was loose or unplugged. Tech came in and messed with it for a while to no avail then Jack hard reset by unplugging and plugging it back in and it started working. That was yesterday afternoon. Today I came by at noon and there was a Dell monitor hooked up with Zangief looking hella skinny. Don’t know if someone tried plugging it back in again today though.

FUUUUCK. It’s impossible to get a 360 TE stick on time now. Why didn’t I preorder? My only hope now is the dual PCB method. The more talk that goes on here on Shoryuken too, the more it seems like an incredible buy.
Speaking of TE sticks, Sean, you might need to get the hole enlarged for your TE if you’re putting the Korean stick in there. The stick needs about a 1 3/8" hole to fit, but from what I’ve seen it looks like the TE’s hole is much smaller than that.
Dennis, you should just get a Fightpad and put Sanwa buttons in it
I’d probably be better off using a DDR pad or a Namco Lightgun with extra buttons to play the game.
Sean: Could you sell me your sanwa stick when you start modding?

I hope Dan will let me use some of his tools to make the korean stick fit. But, I’m not any good at doing this modding thing though… And isn’t that thing made of metal?
You better make sure that it’ll fit on the mounting plate before you start grinding any metal.
And if it does mount, you can probably just grind it out a bit with a dremel.

Btw. To all the Ps3 owners who will get the collector’s edition, try to list out which DLC package you will get (as the information becomes available).
For me, I’m going to choose the DLC pack that has Cammy in it.
