So, I bumped into this guy into the hall, and he called me a scrub. I picked him up off the ground and slammed his body into the ground. I green hand closer after the impact and I body splashed him. He called me cheap, so I said, “Okay. I can be a boxer, too.” I put on some gloves, and just as he was about to throw a punch at me, I used my headbutt’s invincibility frames, and I did my ultra. Needless to say, I juggled him all the way to the hospital. True story.

Marty, change the tournament date, please. We just found out (from SRK website, obviously) that the Gamestop tournament will be on the 21st of February. I think all of us just want to kick some newbie’s ass and get free stuff. Round 3 = TE stick, so yeah (but that’s sometime in march, but it’s before the finals, so we all have a chance).

Hey Matt, out of curiosity, what are you going to do if they don’t have arcade sticks for use? I talked to a GS manager and he said that it’ll vary for all the gamestops. I think I might bring my own stick jic.

I’m going to call ahead to the gamestop to see if they’ll be using fightsticks or TE sticks. If they’re not, I’m going to keep calling around to all the gamestops till I find ones that are using sticks cause I’ll get owned if I have to use a pad.
I hope we all make it to round 2. All the stores are required to play on an xbox 360 and it’s required that u use they’re controllers. Said so at gamestop’s tourney website.
Okay, so me and Alex are gonna rock the U-Mall one. Let’s rig this bracket lol.
I might be able to get a ride to some other tournament, to those with cars, try to set pairs at each gamestop. I think I will go to some obscure place. I dunno.
Edit: Okay, I’ve decided. I’m going to the one in Woodland. Roy, join me there if you can. Walter, my brother, I’m counting on you to take out peeps in Sacramento (there are like 7 gamestops that are hosting the tournament there. You will find your win, trust me) or any place closer to you there.
Remember, to proceed to the next round, all you need to do is be the winner of your tournament OR RUNNER UP. Meaning, 2 people from the MUGA can ideally win each tournament and proceed. Try to monopolize these tournaments because in the end, if each and every single one of us wins our own stick, it will benefit us as a whole because the level of play will rise up (you now have a stick to practice on), and therefore, you will rise up as a better player, too.
Once again, I think I’m heading to Woodland (wait. I don’t think I see it on the list). Roy, leave me a message here if you’re up for a tag team there. Also, I know this might sound like sucking up, but go talk to the Gamestop person and ask them, if they can, not to pair you up against someone in the Muga. Say that you’re good friends and you wouldn’t want to eliminate each other or something.
Remember, we all have more experience than the average joe in Sf4. Don’t be scared. Intimidate.
