team captain isn’t much of anything but a title with psuedo significance in this context. he isn’t running or picking anything in this context. people just qualify for spots on a team! i could literally call all 5 people on the team captain and it means the same thing as calling one person a captain.

also I thought about it - I’m just organizing the qualifiers. If people want a team captain it’s out of my decision making authority. The 5 players who qualify for the team spots can decide how they want to decide their team captain.

Actually hot off the press - Team Captains are actually going down the regions can pick their 5 or run qualifiers. Eric and Sean can be the co-captains and do your picks then. I’m avoiding that whole political mess. Canceling Drom’s qualifiers!

To make it fair I’d think we’d have to run a series of qualifying events like NCR 2009 but it’d take so long to run 5 tournaments.

I’ve been to a few tourneys. Romeo knows me and so does Larry. I haven’t been up to play since Vanilla, but I had a strong showing a long time ago in the 3v3 tourney in davis for Vanilla @@ OCV’d a few strong teams.
