And Sean was on the verge of cockblocking me today. I was showing that girl how mediocre my Ken was, and Sean comes out with Bison and almost beats me in front of her.
I got a small camcorder for Christmas, happy to help with tourney/filming since I’m going out in the first round.

Anyway, Marty, can you make the tournament at 4:30 instead? I can’t go if it’s at 4:00, but 4:30 on Friday is perfect. Also, how about just one tournament and make it big? This way, we can keep track of things easier and we can make the tournament longer. Like. Loser’s brackets and winner’s brackets.

sean, im a joker and at times i joke so much it rides on the verge of being an asshole. but im no cockblock. kevin always finds a way to cockblock himself. all i do is just sit back and watch the show.

I’ve been asking around and it seems Fridays are a problem with more people than I thought.
Most of the people I asked are MUGA regulars but don’t post on Shoryuken so they probably wont let you know.Also, I think Matt(Pieguy) says he works on Fridays so he wont be able to make it to any Tourneys.
If we intend to make this a Bi-weekly thing it might be a problem if our regulars can’t even make it. Maybe if we move it to Thursdays at 4:30?
Is making the tourneys on the weekends still not possible? I think we can work around the whole MUGA being taken some weekends if we know in advance.

I asked Tanaka too and he’ll never make it to the tournies on Friday. I think the same is with Walther. Thursdays doesn’t seem like a good idea to me though. In the middle of the school week usually equals bad for many of the students. Many people later on would usually have exams on Fridays, so Thursdays would be a good prep night for them.

Since Jack and Marty are hosting, it’s up to them to decide. But imo as of now, Fridays and weekends are the only good choices. Maybe Friday night? Like 7:00? I know Wyen (one of the 3rd Strike Urien players) goes around that time.

You’ll have to take it up with Marty or Dan and see if either of them are available to run it on a Thursday. If more people can make it on Thursday than Friday, I so no reason not to hold it on Thursday.
That is not true. Everytime something happens to me, you’re no where to be found (ie: SafeWay, like a million times).

I got a camcorder, records H.264. I can only get about 4 hours of gameplay, so hopefully it won’t take that long. No tripod, though I’m sure I can throw some ghetto ass solution to that together

If you look at the Melee poster I linked to it’s essentially the same formula, lol. Logo in the center, info right underneath, Ryu and Ken to grab attention, all the characters in to bring up interest
I actually thought that one was fancy too lol. For me I just dragged and dropped 3 images total and wrote down some shit. The SSB poster had a ton of character drops and resizes in there I bet.
A paste and transform takes like 6 seconds to do lol
