For Brawl:
LFL from smashboards will be bringing a wii + tube+ game + an extra hacked wii
I ill be bringing a a hacked wii +game + all the files required to hack any other wii’s with homebrew for 3minute+ replay and show names in replay if anybody wants more done. I can bring a tube as well but you said the club has 5.
For SF4 will be bringing a lcd + ps3+game + pvr +laptop to record matches.
i will also have all the necessary cables so the pvr can be used for smash aswell.
all sounds great, my only concern is whether or not we can use those LCDs if they lag than its a not going to be used

i play sf4 and brawl on my samsung lcd and i have never seen it lag. The pvr only works with component outputs and i dont have a monitor that uses component. and i dont own a component>dvi adaptor + my monitors dont have enough space for my dvi adaptor>the hdmi cable (samsung monitors have some stupid bevel piece at the bottom on the back)

right now, I’m looking into getting a 3rd mate with ShadowOS for 3vs3. At least, we’ll be in the singles tournament

I guess we’re okay with setups? I hope all the monitors have internal speakers, or people are bringing external speakers. I didn’t quite enjoy playing on low volume. Just in case, I’ll bring 2.1 speakers.
I’ll bring two good tripods as well so I hope we have some cameras going.
I have a 3v3 team pending but I’ll post again when it’s final.

If any of you happy kids actually do happen to toss together a tiny trio for the tournament, please make sure that you choose an incredible name… something catchy and simple like “The Gleesome Threesome,” or something strong and fancy like “Stud-Horse Triforce,” or even something easy and direct like “Team Gangbang.”

Could you doubly make sure you do that? I don’t have speakers I can just take off from my setup. If I could use that for my setup that’d work real well. I may also borrow a tripod off of you for my camera if that’s alright, Chris.
Two things:
What’s the stance on spectators? Do they have to pay to get in? Can they just sort of show up? Are they not allowed?
I can bring a set up, but I’m not sure if you guys need it. Should I bring stuff? y/n?
Good question Shadow. I dont think this came up last time… hahaha. I would think it’s okay but charging them $2 or something to add to the players pot would be awesome sauce.
Of course it’s cool, I’m bringing them for others to use. If you don’t mind me borrowing your PS3 SE again that would be awesome 
I thought it did come up (at least in the forums) that there was a $2 spectator charge, and I don’t think it went to the pot, but rather to the venue fees.

nah i don’t think i charged anyone for observation fees although of the room gets too full i might ask people to leave.
Seeing is how i was swamped last tourny, i didn’t have time to go around with that sorta stuff.

One of my dads friends conned me into helping him with a job on saturday, but i plan on arriving before SF4 Registration (leaving abbotsford around 130 likely). Ill very likely send my PVR with LFL (smashboards) so it can be used for the brawl tournament.
