Aw man, and I was so close to becoming #1 Pac North in GGXX on APEX, which of course is the absolute best way to determine who’s good and who’s not.

Well, hopefully by the next tourney I’ll have my Baiken ready… so I guess that’s at least anti-Sol rushdown. I was looking foward to playing lilswtaznboi’s Sol on Weds… but he didn’t show. I want to face a good Sol… rather than the scrubby one I had played against several months ago. :bluu:
Oh, and opera… keep practicing with Bridget. 'Twould be awesome to have a great Bridget player in Nor Cal. Good luck with Bridget.

There already is a good Bridget player in Norcal. He goes by Inkblot.
Anytime is a good time for GGXX. That game is fun.
I’m up for playing any time… but the only problem is getting to Davis. Onizuka is my ride to get there because I don’t have my driver’s license yet. 
But yeah, I’m always up for some GGXX. I love that game.
And I didn’t know Inkblot was a good Bridget in Nor Cal… hmm… But anyways, opera, keep practicing Bridget. I’d try to help you out by playing around in practice mode with him… but yo-yo set ups make my brain hurt. Just do what Onizuka said and go to the main Bridget thread at Game Combos.
Oh, and Onizuka and I should be attending the next tourney on the 4th (if there is one).
venkat, your not the only one who plays bridget. theres this guy that kicks my ass by setting up his yoyo trap in the middle of the screen, and then camps in the corner strategically waiting for me to rush him down. then when i move forward, BAM the teddy bear bashes my poor millia to death.:rolleyes: jk.

I WOULD <3 slayer infinite if I could do it correctly. Right now I’m thinking I should just do two and then hit dust. Still does lotsa damage, and since I’m not that good with Slayer letting my opponent live longer just gives me more practice time.
I know what you mean with the ‘hardest challenge’ part. Sometimes when I’m using Dizzy I go: “I wonder if I can beat this guy without using any specials at all?” And 2 out of 3 times the answer is yes. sigh

I tried to play it and u said it was at 1 token. but it takes 4 stinking tokens to play it.

Friday the 30th you guys all need to come to my place for a seriously bad ass gaming session! If enough of you show interest and are able to show, then I would idealy set up 4 TVs in one room. I would like to run MVC2, GGXX, CVS2 and 3S on the TVs.
I can also organize drinks for you guys and maybe pizza or something if you guys want. Drinks will be on me but pizza would be a chip in show of interest type thing. Just IM if your down w/ AIM, my SN is “TanakaForce”. I just wanted to give the heads up in advance so that you guys can know ahead and be there for sure.

Well, Axl is certainly anti-Dizzy. I should have used him against Doug in the last tournament. Although I won with May anyway so I guess it didn’t really matter.
I will be at the MU every MWF for one hour between 12 and 2 for the whole semester, unless I didn’t feel like going to class that day. I like to play GGXX. I will be playing Axl, Slayer, or Dizzy, unless you beat me a few times in a row in which case I will switch to May. Hmmm…something’s backwards here…
Tanaka, if it pleases the masses, I’d like to bring over a Gamecube for Naruto 2 action if people show interest. I also have Mario Kart, Smash Brothers, and Mario Party 5.
Adding holdem to friday’s will be great.

Danny: just add initial D version 3 and charge 3-4 tokens and make all 2d fighters to 1 token. MU will still earn big money.

PS. Initial D ver.3 won’t come out until couple weeks/months after the Japanese release. Translation is a bitch.
We did get GGXX not GGX2 down in the MU…seems like they dont care bout the translation anymore
