i graduated from triangle jumping to being able to learn how to block against msp. kinda. im done with marvel, the competition here is disgustingly fierce, everyone plays mss, and im goin back to holdem. if danny isnt able to pull through with doubling his place as a card room, im willing to do it.

Good game all…everyone in GGXX has gotten quite a bit better than two months ago, lol. Especially you Venkat…your Baiken has definately improved from what I got to watch.

Ohhhh and Allen you robbed me from advancing to 5th place. The next time we meet I’m pulling out the anti-Dizzy on you to kick your ass. Those were some awesome matches.

Tourney was interesting. I really need to work on 3s. Coming home was ass though. I was stuck in traffic for like 30 minutes on the freeway due to road work. I was too pissed off to study for my history test when I got home…but since I’m such a super genius I don’t need to study! eggs~

tourney was fun but no more ggxx for me ever. its fun but not fun enough to dedicate my time to getting good at it. mvc2 is too fun though. ill be playing it when im 60.

Today was tournament day for GGXX#r…so I couldn’t play, just watch. Although it was interesting to watch, knowing that people are going to be downloading these vids later. They had TV’s set up so you could see the action no matter where you were in the arcade. But I spent most of my time playing CvS2.

I’m changing my team from A-Akuma/Bison/R2 Hibiki, to A-Kyo/Hibiki/R2 Sakura, because I feel like this has the better chance. I still got worked today. I won maybe 3-4, lost 20.

CBS are whores. CBS are dirty whores in K-Groove. I mean, I already knew this, but witnessing it at a high level of whore-dom is enough to make you hurl your Hot Pot. I realized this as I saw a K-Blanka today start a round with maybe 1/4th health. All the guy did was back hop and JD EVERYTHING, and before I knew it I looked up and he had 3/4ths heath. Think about that for a minute.

Mainly, I played this guy who used C-Kyo (Hibiki)/Vice/R2 Geese. I maybe won 3-4 against him, lost 15. I guess I shouldn’t feel too bad, he was beating everyone else too, but still. C-Kyo’s super cancels are disgusting. You get hit by c.medium, you lose 80% of your life. Goodnight nurse. And then you factor in RC, and he’s one tough lil bastard. Vice still dies to the power characters, but against everyone else she can be just as annoying as she was in CvS1. You just can’t get close to her. And Geese…yargh. Combo in Deadly Rave, and then add more hits afterwards. To a R1, that’s a 100% combo. To another R2, it’s merely 90% or so. Gah. This guy was really good and distancing and ground games. Even if we avoided the Deadly Rave Combo of Death, he was pretty good at predicting when to use level 3 Raging Storm as a wake-up. Only once did I correctly bait it out of him.

I dunno, sometimes I feel like I want to give up CvS2 and better learn GGXX and 3S, and pick up VF4. Sometimes I want to stick with it. It’s odd. Maybe one day I’ll even go to a tournament, and really get my ass handed back to me. **

Hey Az, dang I heard To-ru’s team won (An Childish hour~The return of the king). How was the matches though and dude, how many people entered???
