As I mentioned earlier the primary game at Tanaka’s this saturday will be Reload. If there is room we’ll play other things, but the priority is on Reload.
However, I won’t pass up the opportunity to beat Popo in 3rd Strike if it comes up.

I guess it depends on how many TVs we have, yes? I wouldn’t mind having a 3S tournament either, but Po should get a ride from Clifford or something… because after I get off work I don’t really wanna spend +20 extra mins to go pick him up. @@ Sorry. ;;
Alright i NEED to know today, i would get into the Davis Amtrak at 1pm on Saturday, and i would need to be at the Davis Amtrak at 9:30 on Sunday, unless i can hitch a ride with ppl coming from the Bay but i doubt they’d want to stop in fresno just to pick me up and make the trip longer… i NEED to know today if someone can pick me up at the amtrak and take me to the amtrak at the designated time. If no one get’s in touch with me i cant go.

Can anyone give TDO a ride to Tanaka’s and to the Amtrak for the next day? It’s important that we’re able to pick him up because he really wants to play.
EDIT: If push comes to shove I can pick him up, even if it’s really out of my way and I have to get to work by 2 (which means I have to get out of Davis by 1:30 PM). I really want him to have the privilege of being able to play us.

#r isn’t that bad a game, yo. even though i haven’t played #r in a looooong time, i used to like it lots before they destroyed Baiken. it was almost as good as 3s… only without parries so you get to do random run-in pressures. unless you were Sol. then you just dp everything. mroe like dp>RC>dust loop, but still 
well. she’s not completely destroyed, per se… but her dust loops do a lot less damage for a lot more meter required and a bit tighter timing… it’s like making A-sak’s shosho a 2-frame precision CC and does 40% less damage… so technically, she’s been neutralized

Baiken wasn’t really “neutralized” in #R, she was just made into a character that wasn’t fucking hella scrubby. 2D -> Tatami, j.S-D was the fucking stupidest combo in XX. 4 hit, easy ass, tensionless combo that did 1/4 life on most characters. Furthermore it could be even bigger if she had tension. Even if she was never as good as the other characters, that combo by itself was too powerful compared to other bread and butter combos.

Thx for having me over Tanaka, Scott and Dave, it was a blast playing against you guys, wish more ppl had shown and i would have gotten more play time against Scott. But other than that i had a good time. Big props to you guys.
