If there’s anyone who has the credibility to make his happen, it’s you, sir. I have the utmost respect for your involvement in all the events and MM’s you’ve directed / steered in the past. Simply having you involved in this spectacle is an honor on it’s own. That being said, I understand that the chances of Sanford speaking/messaging me directly are slim to none. And that’s okay. I was expecting you to be the middle-man in that sense. Your credibility precedes you. If anything, you’re the only person that can help make this happen and that’s why I asked for YOU specifically.
As far as Evo goes, the only reason we went was because World and I were TOLD that both the MM AND the time constraints were agreed to. And that’s the part that fucking pisses me off because once again, ABK dropped the ball by giving World false information. That’s why I do NOT buy into any his events/plans/matchmaking anymore. Almost NOTHING comes through and it’s very unreliable. The guy wants to set up USA vs Mexico and advertise the Mexican players as the fucking VILLAINS. Are you kidding me?
ABK: I appreciate the energy and your emphasis on keeping the scene alive, but it drives a lot of us crazy when you say things like “Oh, this is US against them. This is US against these guys.” Bro, you’re not good. If anything, you should be saying “This is THEM vs THEM.” At your level of skill, you should not affiliate yourself as part of actual top-level play. I speak for myself. I’m sure everyone else has their opinions, but I speak for myself. Fugee just mentioned his authority as the director in charge over the Toan vs Fanatiq match and it irritates me now because I recall back at the hotel room at Evo2012 where you were VERBALLY taking credit for that whole MM! Talking about how you set it up and ran it and this and that.

Dont EVER put the blame on me since the match didnt happen cause all the parties that were involved were there and present in the hotel room except wong. Dont get beside yourself and take what I do for granted. I dont have to do this for you or anyone else. I choose to do this to keep the scene alive with hype and so lets get that understood. Re-Read what I just said cause you didnt get it. How was it unreliable when i gave the phone to fugee to talk to world since fugee didnt have worlds number? Didnt fugee tell world wong would play you and thats why you guys made the trip. Ok so how is that unreliable when you got a confirmation from fugee himself? Again when you came last year all the matches i setup for you didnt they go down? Right! So how does that make anything i do false assumptions or not being confirmed when all your matches i set up for you happened last year? Ill say this again. I had a SUPER awesome time at Evo. It was my first Evo where I actually competed in any form and I’m glad I was able to head down. Big ups to CableGuy, Chunksta, and SmoothViper. Very good sets. Can’t wait for the videos. The hype/crowd is what always makes this game the greatest.

THIS year I had no intention of going until we were told everything was confirmed, INCLUDING the time constraints. World can vouch for that. But it’s over and done with. Moving ON, I want the MM between myself and Sanford (including any other potential players that wish to donate) to be handled by either myself, Fugee, Delta, and/or World. And any future involvement (should there be any) of a USA vs Mexico 5 on 5, the players will handle it. I’ve got a post up on the Bajio Facebook thread as well. Stick to sidebets and let the top-level players handle the booking.

lol I like how the whole post I just made got ignored. You never once said your right, all the matches you set up for me did happen and appreciate you for setting me up my matches. Roundhouse and other players always say good shit ABK for the things you do for the scene cause they know i dont have to do this, i do this for the love and hype. This isn’t a confirmation. But, they are willing to look into this MM depending on how much you’re willing to put out. That is why ABK wants to make it an event. If they are okay with the 1G. Then, we’re looking to post this at Final Round XVI and get it streamed. So, if you lose or they lose. We are looking to make another event at EVO2k13.
Lets not jump into a wagon and make up all these assumption. Either you’re in or you’re not. Simple as that. If you wanna put 1G on the line against both players and Kelly and Yipes agree. Then, it’s official. Plain and simple.
How the HELL is that not a confirmation if it clearly states that they CONFIRMED to a negotiate a MM? And if Yipes stated to ME PERSONALLY that he never confirmed anything (not even the THOUGHT of a MM with yours truly) why would his name be brought up in the first place?
Besides the fact, I’m only focusing on Sanford. And I’ve BEEN in. But stop mentioning Yipes like he’s in. Because he’s not. He confirmed it with me (CONFIRMED) no more than a few hours ago. I can negotiate a MM against you. Does that make it an official statement? Does that confirm the event? Not at all. It’s just a negotiation between us. If the party loves the amount. Then, it becomes official. For now, it’s a confirmation that they are willing to take part of it. But, they can back out at anytime if they don’t like it.

It’s been official. But you’re still saying “they” as if Yipes is included. He’s not. And never even heard of a suggestion towards negotiating a MM against me. This is where information starts becoming unreliable. Player names being mentioned when they weren’t even made aware of the attempts of a MM negotiation.
