I believe that people got distracted by um… honey matches and the tourney never got finished. Some great matches were played: not sure if anybody caught them, though.

I just got back home, man that was a crazy EVO! All the upsets were unreal! Khaos was in rare form this weekend and seemed basically unstoppable, he beat Cable Guy twice in a 1st to 10 for $100, then I think again in a 1st to 5 or some shit for $50 (maybe) then not too long after that he turns and beats Chunksta in a 1st to 10 for $50 Lol damn! They did a run back but not sure who won that 1. So many MM’s going on but nothing too deep for the people’s pockets, Dark Prince ass was there it was good seein his goofy ass again since it’s been like 3 years since I last saw him, until he eventually got banned AGAIN for goin crazy on Sanford tryin to get him to play Khaos (while Sanford was doing a “live” interview on the stream) Mr. Wizard was like “Ohhhh no” you are outta here lol too crazy! Anyways Matchue and I finally after 2 days of waiting played our matches and I made the mistake of not practicing on 360 prior to playing him cause he fucked me up 5-1 the 1st set, then 5-4 the run back, (both for $20 each) but oh well lesson learned. Shit I was strugglin big time just to get the few wins I did lol, but like I said oh well it was more so for braggin rights for me not so much the $. Speaking of which I know I will never hear the end of this shit from him but enjoy it while you can lad cause if you don’t know bout me is that I ALWAYS come back for revenge! Our match was taped and will be up soon as Lord Hollow posts it on youtube Man the clubs out there are sickening!! I can’t wait to go back there next year and have some more fun ooooooh yeah!

To clarify, that was just DP being rude. DP was never banned “again”, he’s (still) banned for life. He’d gained a buncha weight, so I don’t think anybody recognized him - but then went out of the way to point out that he was there, and that’s not a good look. It was weird seeing him without Mike Chaos.
This game is still pretty much the best game ever. :tup:

Naw, I was judging pools. I stopped by the few times I had a break and got in some casual matches with VDO (hilarious: love his assist punish combos, but I have to cheap out VDO or I’m DOA), world, and deathw1sh, but – only saw pieces of the honey matches myself. KHAOS and Chunk was pretty excellent, but there were a lot of dropped combos.

I had a SUPER awesome time at Evo. It was my first Evo where I actually competed in any form and I’m glad I was able to head down. Big ups to CableGuy, Chunksta, and SmoothViper. Very good sets. Can’t wait for the videos. The hype/crowd is what always makes this game the greatest.
Even bigger ups to those who bet against me. Too nice.

I do feel shorted. After gathering much opinion from the others in attendance, the conclusion was that you were ducking me. Which is cool, all you had to do was say hey, frayoss, let’s run it another day.
