Frank, don’t let this whole Best Western situation ruin all the plans you set for yourself and the scene. Really, Best Western isn’t needed. It was a dope venue, but it’s not end all be all for venues.

They could comfortably fit tons of people and have a lot of set ups. Plus Cole already offered.
North West Majors 3 = Gameclucks venue
Chris has tons of connections with tons of venues. He could guarantee turn out with brawl and we could take over the street fighter and tekken. Sad that things didn’t turn out how you wanted them to, but giving up isn’t the answer. TBH, if you don’t want to run anything then just get help. Trying to do all this on your own is way too much. Don’t give up, summer 2010 must be epic with street fighter, otherwise when responsibility comes back in the fall we’l all have given up the game =/
Yeah, I think we either need to continue the season at Cole’s or just end it. Hard to care about something when it comes back if it’s been 2-3+ months or something since you’re last matches.

TournamentWars will be back on schedule and finishing up at the dojo. I have chosen to not bring TW’s back to Best Western, and to cut all ties with the venue. They were a great place for 1 and a half seasons, and a ranbat. But over time TW’s was looked more as a social event, instead of what it was originally for which was a competitive atmosphere for people to really put their skills to the test against other top players. I do appreciate all that they have done for us and our scene. But it’s time to look forward.
With that said each division has one more day to show up for for the regular season. I’m giving people a heads up now so that way they can plan their schedules accordingly.
July 17th - Seth Division
July 24th - Bison Divison and the Bison Division rescheduled matches that need to be made up
July 31st - Juri Division, all 6 games
August 7th - Vega Division, all 6 games.
August 14th - playoffs
August 15th - finals
Robert has taken over for Tekken, so if people have questions about the tekken season talk with him.
Unfortunately HDR has become a disaster with teams dropping at the beginnig and my mistake of not really following up on it, with that said HDR is cancelled. The money that was in the prize pool will be given back to the players.
The season has been a shit hole, let’s be honest. A complete opposite of what Season 1 was. Let’s put this one down and look ahead.
To accomodate the dojo, we will be running this starting at 4pm, and hopefully finishing up at midnight.it would be advised for teams to just show up early, that way if we are ahead of schedule we can just plow through more matches and hopefully finish early.
For those teams that have rescheduled matches to take care of, we will be running 2 setups to make sure we knock everything out.
I’m not taking any reschedules from here on out. The schedule is on schedule, the only difference is the start times. If you need to start/leave at a certain time get in contact with me and we can work it out.
Like I said it’s just one more day, for people in SSFIV. Let’s try to finish on a good note.

Honestly, once I played Super, it was hard to go back to HDR. I wasn’t really felling it and was just happy to have Beasley as a teammate.

I appreciate all the hard work you have put into this event, Frank. Coming from KY., some ppl don’t realize just how well off the fighting game scene is here in Seattle. There is shit HAPPENING and meets and TW and BK and PNWM and Dojo and drinks and ppl wanting to teach new players. This shit is Godlike. This scene is the only reason I am playing SF in the first place. You are directly one of the reasons this scene is what it is. ^^
