At this rate, waiting till SSFIV coming out seems like a novel approach to utilizing Saturday nights before they become consumed.

Not sure if I will be able to make the pre-tourney this weekend, so I wont be committing to bringing a console.
We need people to commit to bringing setups. I can once again provide a TV/stick, but not console. There was some confusion last time regarding rules. To keep things simple, here are the rules we will be running with:
-3$ entry fee per person ($6 per team)
-21+ only since this is in the bar.
-Totem pole style (so A vs A, B vs B, and A vs B if they are tied up at the end).
-Teams can switch their order between matches.
-Each set will be 2 out of 3 rounds, 2 out of 3 games.
-All finals will be the same format. (although if the team from losers resets the set, the other team can change their team order).
-You must team with someone that you haven’t teamed with before.
-Winner take all.
Judging by our previous tournouts, we need 2 setups to run the team tournament. I am trying to get everything started at 8:00. Let me know if you can help out. If we don’t have enough setups, or people don’t show, then we will just do casuals instead.
If you need I can have a 360 setup waiting at my work, unless someone wants to get to my house before 3 to pick it up (probably not gonna happen)
I can put a setup in my car, then someone can drive to my store (7300 Roosevelt way) and pick it up out of my car and take it to tw while I work.

I’ll be bringing my 360. I’ll try to bring Jared’s 360 and cords so we can hook it up to the big TV in the lounge since it uses component cables.
Frank, have you played with the 360 on the big tv before? How was the lag? I’d like to have as few laggy setups as possible, just so I don’t have to deal with people’s complaining.
I can bring my PS3 to cover for Eric’s, but I only have 1 stick, so someone else needs to bring a PS3 stick then.
Dan, it would be sweet if you could contribute a console. I’ll hit you up tomorrow about picking it up.
If someone has a monitor that they know works well with ps3s, let me know (my tv doesn’t). We will need at least one more for the ranbats later.

That still only leaves us with 2 setups in the restaurant, and I don’t think we can get through with all of the matches in time with less than 3. I suppose we could keep one hooked up to the bar tv, but I’d like to avoid that because A.) It’s a pain in the ass, and B.) I still don’t know if the bar tv lags or not.
I played Tekken 6 on it (on 360) and I was hittin electrics and all that great stuff, so I don’t think lag will be an issue…I just need to remember to ask Jared for his console.

Alright, we’ve got 3 consoles for tonight. It’d be nice if we could have another monitor so we could run the entire ranbat in the restaurant. However if push comes to shove we can use the tv in the bar and have a setup in a different room. I’ll be heading out in an hour or so to set up.
